There are a lot of indignities that people won't stand for. Losing to Northwestern is one of them. It's so delicious because we're no longer the topic of being highly overrated.

Rumored names include Rhule, Brent Key, f e a Brown , Cignetti and kiffin.  But the 50m buyout is the issue

They’re tapping into private equity for the buyout money. He might be gone today but some political pressure probably delays it to the end of the season due to optics without a state budget.

A bit surprised this goober's buyout is so high. Hasn't he been there close to a decade by now? Guess they gave him a jimboesque extension recently?

As long as he keeps disappointing the fan base they'll continue to look the other way when it comes to the Paterno years.

James Franklin helped cover up a bunch of rapes at Vandy like Art Briles so he’s really a perfect match for pedo state.

They are spending over $800,000,000 to basically reconstruct their ugly-ass stadium, all while closing their branch campuses.

They have priorities and being honorable is not one of them.

If they need to buy him out, there are plenty of GodPaCult members who will cough up the $$$.

Fans waited after the game to boo him.  Then even inside they were still booing.  Why are fans let in there?

There’s a club/lounge area under there.

Last season was his peak at PSU. They played the majority of the weakest teams in the playoffs. Their path to the semis was easier than anyone else's. Franklin is Ohio State's bitch, he folds in big games time after time. Ever since the Oregon game they've been in a free fall, they may not even become bowl eligible.

I get that Franklin isn’t a BAD coach or anything but this fall this year was stunning given all the hype. They will probably lose to Iowa coming up. I don’t think he’s an elite coach but he’s not terrible. This fall is stunning. Like holy shit. Unless he wanted to leave and kept that shit completely under wraps. He is failing spectacularly.

$56 million buyout. They could probably swing it, but it would sting.

That said, if the Big Ten takes the dirty Saudi money, mid 8 figures really doesn’t matter anymore.

Goes down 8 million if they wait until January 1?

His next 3 games aren’t gonna do him any favors:

I know Texas would NEVER do this.  Especially not during the season.

but if he loses to GA/Vandy/Aggie I’d like them to consider it.  Cause the offense is a problem if that’s the case.

It won't even be considered if that happens.

Is this satire? We wandered the desert for over a decade, Sark has taken us to back to back semis and absolutely fucking owns our number one rival to the point of them not scoring a TD on us in two years. Are you still drunk from last night???
