NYTimes just released a round of voting

  1. Klobuchar 32%
  2. Pete 26.3%
  3. Biden 18.9%

I thought the caucuses started at 7 so no idea where they got those numbers from. The numbers from first ballot to final ballot are interesting. Warren and Bernie voters went to Klobuchar and Pete.

Biden has a massive lead in Florida as of January 28, and Bloomberg has more support there than Sanders.

The nomination will be over by then.

California matters since it moved up. Sanders has a big lead there now that Biden is fading.

Scroll up. That's the Florida satellite results previously mentioned.

As someone who is genuinely paying attention to this part of the process for the first time, I have one question: What the fuck?

It's intended to be a community event where people gather collectively. There's a lot to recommend here.

Also, you get shit like this which is hilarious.

"FUCKIN' YANG GANG BITCH! WOOOO! Wait what we have to like live here?"

I’m confused. Voters all have to run into these rooms during this thirty minute window? What about people that work during this time?

That's what these early satellite caucuses are. You sign up early if there's a conflict and you want to caucus.

Oooh I didn't know the DNC had changed the delegate math in Iowa to bias against the college counties (which, in Iowa, are also the most diverse counties).

What a dogshit organization.

Shame.

The rules are always getting changed against poor mistreated Bernie.  Maybe he should have someone on his staff raise hell about it before the rules are changed instead of just bitching, whining and moaning about it after the fact.

Regarding the Iowan olds in Florida, do they also get to vote in Florida? Or can they not participate in the caucus if they are registered in Florida?

I'd assume they're just vacationing and are registered to only vote in Iowa.

If that's retired old people who are snowbirds that's 100% unsurprising.

Also Biden is fucked if he's not even winning the olds in Florida. That is shocking to me.

Biden beats Sanders 41-15 in the D primary question in that poll, FWIW (not much, any way you look at it).
