Mr. Tuberville goads to Washington

So, could we just make a list of things we'd have wanted Doug Jones to do if he kept his seat, and then just pay Tuberville extra to do those same things?

I mean let's rattle a dollar, have somebody in camo mumble what we want with some deep vocal fry. I bet Tommy would be down to play.

I’m going to make it my mission to find out when this jug eared fuck is anywhere within driving distance.

And then I’m gonna show up and heckle his ass.

Problem is he was too scared to show up anywhere that wasn’t full up of morons with money to burn just for the privilege of being in the same room.

But I’m going to try.

You'll be lucky if he even does a telephone town hall with the regular citizens. Cornyn didn't start calling until he thought he was going to lose, and Cruz has never held one that I can recall.

Boobytubey is going to be MIA from here on in unless you've got the stacks.

Or drive around, find shady real estate deals, and let him know about them. He'll do the rest.

How could somebody this ignorant be elevated to the Senate?

https://www.nytimes.com/2020/11/13/us/tommy-tuberville-fact-check.html

In his first big interview as a senator-elect, Tommy Tuberville, Republican of Alabama, misidentified the three branches of the federal government, claimed erroneously that World War II was a battle against socialism and wrongly asserted that former Vice President Al Gore was president-elect for 30 days.

Mr. Tuberville, a former Auburn University football coach who decisively defeated Senator Doug Jones, a Democrat, last week, gave the remarkable interview to The Alabama Daily News on Thursday after attending orientation for new senators in Washington.

Asked if he thought Republicans could still use their potential Senate majority to pass legislation in divided government, with Democrats controlling the White House and House of Representatives, Mr. Tuberville replied that he had been given a mandate to “help people,” adding, “I don’t care if you’re a Republican or Democrat.”

“Our government wasn’t set up for one group to have all three branches of government — wasn’t set up that way,” Mr. Tuberville said. “You know, the House, the Senate, and the executive.”...

That’s concerning to me, that we’re to the point now where we’ve got almost half the country voting for something that this country wasn’t built on,” Mr. Tuberville said. “I tell people, my dad fought 76 years ago in Europe to free Europe of socialism.”

World War II was a global battle against fascism.

Picturing him trying to wiggle out with “Nazi stands for national socialist”

I mean, multiple right wing parrots have done that very thing all over Twitter and this board.

I’m pretty sure his “briefing materials” are compiled from Twitter, Facebook, Breitbart, synopsis of “Joe Rohan”, and The Daily Caller.

He’s probably not the stupidest senator or congressman by an objective measure but he’s certainly the most proud about it.

And while the majority of dumbfuck Alabamians elected him, his ties to Alabama are being the AU coach and a recent residency of 18 months.

He’s an Arkansas man by birth and raising and a Florida man by choice.

And seeing the elected assholes from those two fine states, I feel confident those morons would have gleefully elected him too.

And don’t y’all dare blame The City of Tuscaloosa - they elect Democrats. It’s fucking Tuscaloosa County that holds the blame there.

I NEVER talk politics on my personal social media or in real life but I’m going to happily spend the next six years making big fun of Wingnut. The Auburn ties give me an easy cover in polite company.

It started the first couple of years that Saban was the coach and has become a tradition.

During Fan Day, they have an autograph thingy with coaches and players where fans can line up to get autographs.

When they open the gates, the folks like the ones in that picture get all mobbed up and bum rush the field to get in line.

One person even ran pell mell with a flipping baby in their arms to get Saban to sign.

Here’s some history - https://www.barstoolbets.com/blogs/1055161/the-souths-premier-marathon-the-running-of-the-gumps-happened-over-the-weekend

It’s a little dumb and embarrassing but the majority of those that attend are mostly fans who can’t afford season tickets. It doesn’t hurt anyone and us alumni are snobby about it; let people find their joy where they can ya know.

I’d rather those folks do that than go to Trump rallies. I used to get angry and embarrassed about it because I thought it made Alabama fans “look bad” but now I think it’s funny and I embrace it.

It’s harmless and those fans have the time of their lives. Roll Tide ya running Gump lunatics!

North Korea = Democratic People's Republic of Korea

So I guess we're cool with them now, right?  Is that how this works?

I believe what you’re showing is his old candidate (from when he was campaigning) account; which is still active. The link he put in the tweet I posted is supposed to go to his ‘new’ official (not a candidate but a sworn in Senator) account. Which is apparently not working

Maybe it’s been fixed now. Just thought it was a Tommy Tub thing to have happen.

Probably a good bet. Trump called him in the middle of the insurrection.

I’m just thinking of him getting popped for campaign finance fraud and him being like, oh, I thought dem monies was okay. But yeah, your theory is plausible too

And he's smarter than 85% of the state.

So is a cactus but it didn’t get sworn in 2 weeks ago and try to overturn a fair election that it also won to be in the senate
