Ok, so let's just say that Hannity is telling the truth, and he just had a few small conversations about real estate.  Then it seems to me that there would have been no paper trail to show there was any connection between Cohen and Hannity along the lines of legal work, or even discussion.   And maybe that is true.   What I can see however is him discussing Russia and other things with Cohen in a way that shows collusion or conspiracy to commit treason (for the greater good of the country, of course).

Or maybe he was talking about some shady real estate dealings he was involved in with the Trump team.  That might be why it's part of the NY investigation.

Now if Cohen recorded those conversations, then he has on tape Hannity being involved in this, possibly to the point of being a sector chief on how Fox approaches all of this.

Cohen then makes Hannity his third client to invoke privilege on the recordings?

Thing that is so odd is that if it really is how Hannity says, something very informal and in passing, then how would any investigators have found out much if anything about the Cohen-Hannity connection.  If it was all verbal, and all so innocent, then why even say he was a client?

Well, the fact that Hannity said on his radio show that he wanted client-attorney privileges kinda blows a lot of Hannity's defense out of the water.  I think that's partly what Dershowitz was dancing around when he was pissing Hannity off.  To somebody like Dershowitz, if you want client-attorney privilege, that is significant.

That reminds me so much of the Sovereign Citizen girl who told the cop she should have all the rights of being an American, without obeying any of the laws.  She ended up in handcuffs kicking and screaming.

God damn IRL American Dad lives in y’all’s heads.  This shit is hilarious.  Shouldn’t we be more concerned with why in the actual fuck our politicians want to get into another war with Syria?  Why don’t we clean up Mexico instead if we’re gonna be the moral police.  Seriously, fuck this country.  All politicians should be executed.  Maybe things would get better then.

Hilariously dumb post and worthless attempt at obfuscation but for amusement, what if I told you that Sean hannity was part of the problem in why in the actual fuck we are getting into another war with Syria...

would your mind be blown?

If hannity slit his wrists tonight in a bathtub, would anyone feel sad? Would even his own kids mourn?

His kid actually plays tennis for Wake. Interestingly, his kid lists his name as “Sean Patrick” instead of his real name “Sean Patrick Hannity.” If my kid literally had to change his name because of my rhetoric, I’d take serious consideration into toning down my rhetoric. Guess not him though.

Visited some in-laws in Houston a couple of months ago and they had the Hannity show on. He was doing a monolog(ranting) on the “deep state” and the “double” standard involved with HRC scandal and etc.

A couple months later we visit them again. I walk in and they had the Hannity show on. He was doing a monolog(ranting) on the “deep state” and the “double” standard involved with HRC scandal and etc.

It was a legit déjà vu moment. I honestly don’t know how anyone can watch the repetitive bullshit that Fox and CNN churns out day after day.

You're too young--they have to repeat it for the olds who can't remember anything past a day.

Murdochs probably won’t be too happy either.  Using their platform to promote a company you have undisclosed ties to seems like the kind of thing that would piss some of them off.

I completely agree that his audience won't give one shit, but this seems like an ethical lapse that would concern Fox management to a greater degree. On its own merits, it's not enough for management to mess with their golden goose. But if other ethical shit comes to light through the Cohen angle, I could see it carrying more significance.

Bill O’Reilly had to do something so egregious it cost him $32 million before he got the ax.

Ultimately, he tarnished the brand.  $32 million or $200,000, wouldn’t have mattered.

If Hannity finds himself under investigation for using their platform to promote a company he covered up his ties to, they’ll ditch him.

20 years ago this probably results in immediate termination for a news journalist. But in today's age of 24/7 media personalties, its a different game. Shit, Hannity has a direct line to the Orange diety that Fox's viewership worships. Getting rid of a member of Trump's true inner circle would be a huge sacrifice.

Fox News host Sean Hannity is linked to a group of shell companies that have spent $90 million buying hundreds of homes across the U.S through the help of foreclosures and the US Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD), the Guardian reported Sunday.

Several of the properties Hannity purchase were obtained with funding help from HUD, according to the newspaper.

Hannity did not disclose his cooperation with HUD when he had the agency's current secretary, Ben Carson, on his show last June, the Guardian noted.

During that segment, Hannity praised Carson, telling him, “you’ve done a good job.”

Hannity also railed against the state of public housing and made the false claim that home ownership was at a 51-year-low, the Guardian reported.

“I like the idea of them owning the place,” Hannity said of people who receive housing assistance from Carson’s agency.

“Well, that’s the real ideal,” said Carson.

Hannity also never disclosed that he was also a client of President Trump's personal lawyer, Michael Cohen, during any of his segments complaining about the FBI investigation into Cohen.

The host, however, has criticized former President Obama in the past for the rate of US foreclosures, saying in 2016 there were “millions more Americans suffering under this president.”

Several of Hannity’s properties were bought at a discount after their previous owners defaulted on their mortgages in 2013, the Guardian reported.

Hannity is the hidden owner behind some of these shell companies, a fact his attorney did not dispute in a statement to the newspaper.

Each company uses a variation of the same name mixed with the initials of Hannity’s children.

Properties are located in Alabama, Florida, Georgia, New York, North Carolina, Texas and Vermont, the Guardian reported.

DEVELOPING

"Among the most valuable are two large apartment complexes in Georgia that Hannity bought in 2014 for $22.7m. The developments are in the cities of Perry and Brunswick, which have higher poverty rates and lower median incomes than the US averages. One- and two-bedroom units in Hannity‍‍‍’s apartment complexes are available to rent for $735 to $1,065 per month, according to brochures."

So Sean Hannity is a slum lord.

That makes sense.

What’s most funny about all of this is that Bill O’Reilly is having to watch this play out from home.

It’s got to be driving him nuts that he’s not at Fox News right now.

Especially with the new crop of summer intern ass that should show up in the next few weeks.

Some of the property purchases were financed utilizing mortgage assistance from the Department of Housing and Urban Development — and Hannity was a vocal supporter of Ben Carson to head the agency without disclosing that connection. These revelations surrounding Hannity's property holdings highlight the ethical issues between his journalistic work and his personal entanglements with the Trump administration.

Obviously hannity is an unethical piece of shit and in no way a credible journalist, and should have been fired for any one of the things that have come out this week but in what way are his dealings with Cohen illegal?  I get that he could be guilty of some financial crimes for not disclosing ownership in financial vehicles he was pitching, but the Cohen stuff isn’t that is it?
