I think we’ve seen this scenario a few times before. Alabama will be going to the playoffs and aggy would sit at home. The protest would be glorious!

Like every good cuck, aggy wouldn't protest at all, just bend over and ask more.

They’ve been building next year’s coaster since last year. Once they get some of those pesky good teams like Clemson and Georgia off the schedule, they think the floor is 11-1 with a bama loss and a cfp invitation.

Still have road games @ Bama', Auburn, Miss. State, and South Caroline next year.

Texags says Chef Price's kid is committing at the end of the month so another power move will be made.

Have to wonder if Price doesn't just get a raise instead of a scholarship for his son.  Kid can play, but receivers in Texas are a dime a dozen other than the truly special.

It would be a pretty bad look for a D1 level recruited receiver to not be able to get a committable offer from his aggy Dad and his Dad's boss.  Rumlin will do them a solid and take the kid for a case of Captain Morgan and an Uber pass.

What would Sumlin not do for a case of Captain Morgan and an Uber pass?  Don't pitch him your best offer right off the bat.  Negotiate a little.

It's as if no one on that staff has watched any actual football games in the last thirty years. I mean, it's not like I care, but why on Earth are they taking guys who are obviously going to suck? For every Demas on their roster there's three guys who are too fat, too slow, or both. It's like watching a housepainter set up a giant fan to dry a wall, and then he throws sawdust at it.

Stupid sip, Jimbo won a title. He knows what he's doing.

They offered because other sec schools offered. That's what they were told they are supposed to do.

What I don't get is why it's called "pro style" when there aren't any pro teams that run it anymore.

You are mistaken by what analysts are referring to when speaking of Jimbo’s “Pro” offense. It’s actually a Prehistoric Resembling Offense (PRO).

aggy on Dorbah. "He doesn't have a position in college" aka "I don't understand what a B-backer is".

Jesus, aggy is insufferable.

The rational take from their perspective: "Good get for Texas, he is a really good player with a lot of potential [accurate]. Fits better as a OLB in a three-man front there than a WDE in a four-man front here so no need to really sweat it [also accurate]."

That's where it should end. None of them come really close to that. They all want to twist it into a head-to-head (it wasn't) then excuse the fact that they lost said head-to-head (they didn't) by disengenuously downplaying Dorbah's ability and start bitching about the BOMC. And throw in that comment about the birth certificate out of left field. I straight up don't understand how a functioning brain follows that path. It's also funny that they can turn anything into a loss to Texas.

2:00:30 - 2:08:00

Looch goes on about the recruiting rating bias, especially with Jake Majors over any aggy OL.

2:08:00 - 2:11:30

Texter asks how Jimbo's dominance in recruiting compares to "Mack Brown at taaayy yeews" in the 2000's. This of course sends Billy into a propaganda rant that felt like a seig Heil was coming at the very end.

The fanbase of the team that almost exclusively recruits safeties to play corner, guards to play tackle, and fullbacks and defensive tackles to play running back thinks our obvious edge rusher doesn't have a position

In 2020 when the Aggies post their usual record of 3 or 4 losses, the backlash will be exquisite. Texags will become a fun read again. Potbangers versus Jimbo Adherents. Even if they keep the losses to 2, it will still have been the year they were supposed to dominate.

The gaps in their position recruits will keep their ceiling just a hair above mediocre. Demas may make some great grabs. Leal will have a thrilling play here and there. Surely some of their safeties will pan out even if the cbs don't.

Their fat, short O-line will leave the running backs on their own and their QB running for his life.

If they don't get King, their QB room is a disaster with only Mond being worth anything.

The early 20s are shaping up fun. If we have an off year, maybe we'll get a chance to crush them in a bowl game.

Hopefully at least four losses. If it's only three, that means they would have beaten Bama, Clemson, Georgia, or LSU in the last game of the season on the road.

In 2020, they don't play Clemson or Georgia. Their schedule sets up for the run that they're anticipating. Their toughest non conference games are Fresno State and Colorado.
