So excited to go to the SEC with these Tennessee assholes

Cross posting.  On Volnation, about half the fans are in support of trashing the field.

No. **** these refs. They deserve every bit of it.

Quote
I threw a beer **** them the refs especially

Good man!

Probably won’t have been this bad if all of Kiffins thugs didn’t start taunting the fans.

Quote

Ole Miss has done nothing but faked injuries and taunt our players the whole game.

It’s justified.

Been like that a long time. I attended a game with my girlfirend at Sanford in Athens circa 1993 or so. Tennesse was stout and GA not so much. Vol fans were filling drink cups with piss and pouring them off the upper deck at Bulldog fans leaving late 4th. My girlfriend got a drop of piss on her shoe. You would have thought someone had thrown lye in her eyes by way of her reaction.

Oh look!  That's the fat coach who beat your ass 63-14 the following year, and won a national championship.  How sportsmanlike of you to make a post inevitably calling attention to that fact.  Kiss you, Sweetie!

Don’t be mad. He’s just annoyed that we are, by having a rivalry, effectively making you relevant enough to get to join the SEC with us.

Moving to the SEC is a bad idea on so many levels. We can't win conference championships when there are 9 other teams in the conference, one of which is consistently good and 2-3 decent ones each year. It may be 20 years or more before we win another one. Does that not matter? We're going to be in a conference with teams we play every 4-8 years? That's ridiculous.

No, that does not matter, not to those who call the shots. Money matters. Period.

Meh.  We don’t win conference championships now so it really won’t change things.  I mean we have won 7 since 1980, 2 since 2000, and zero the last 12 years.  The SEC may be our only chance to be able to build a team that can win conference championships.

Moving to the SEC is going to be fantastic.

This is next level assholery.

What a shitty fan base. Vol fans make okies look gentlemanly by comparison, apparently.

Ha ha.  They're still at it even after the (presumed) alcohol has worn off.

Then feel free to put your vol swag on Ebay and show yourself out. That officiating crew needed to shaken up a bit and a little fear instilled in them. If that’s too much for your gentle heart then kindly piss off. Sometimes being an ******* is worth it and last night was one of those times.

I love how the media acts like we are the only...

Place to throw debris in field. It is common and every fan base has done it.

That last one.  I have been to innumerable college football games home and away.  I’ve never seen it.  Maybe one single item followed by a quick escort out, but not en masse like that shit.

how is this going to happen?  LSU, A&M, Ark are way ahead of UT right now.

Agree.  On that same thread, someone links a Twitter video of an Ole Miss basketball game.  Big difference between paper cups and golf balls, full water bottles, etc...

In aggy’s last five years in the Big 12, they were:

7-6

4-8

6-7

9-4

7-6

Their first year in the SEC, they went 11-2, and haven’t had a losing season since.

If those idiots can do it, so can we.

yes they are and so is ahem, OU.  Aggy would win by 28-40, Ark won by a bunch.  LSU is rebuilding but they're coming strong next year.

I think we'll be fine if we can button up recruiting a bit and take advantage of the transfer portal. We'll see if this coaching staff can take advantage of Texas' built in advantages.

Having said that, I'd rather lose in the SEC than lose in the Big 12, which is what we've been doing for the last decade.

100% this

2016: 5-7
2017: 7-6
2018: 10-4
2019: 8-5
2020: 7-3
2021: probably something like 8-5 again

Ugly and not what we want, but come on.

If we recruit well in the 2023 class and show improvement in 2022, be happy. 10 wins in 2022 with improvement in focus, execution, and S&C would be a huge victory.

Except win a bajillion conference titles, Heisman trophies, make the playoffs. Trying to talk smack about Oklahoma's success is a joke given where the hell we are.

Every Georgia opponent has a piss off the upper deck legend. Not saying you’re lying but I’ve heard that from so many fan bases (including GT). Usually it’s the dwags doing the pissing/pouring.

Booing  every injury or cheering when it was Corral and then throwing golf balls and anything else they could find on the field.

Which is worse?  Colorado and batteries at the opposing fans or Tennessee and golf balls at the opposing team?

I've actually been to Knoxville 4 or 5 times with my Bulldog wife and never had any bad experiences except for the fans not sitting in their seats and squeezing 4 of us into 3 bench slots (and the blasted in artificial noise from the speakers).

I think the genesis of all of that talk and piss at Sanford in general talk originated with the Ole Miss player urinating on the hedges at one point. There is an old Athens Banner Herald pic of that.

All my schooling was TCU/Texas undergrad/grad so I was pretty much a disinterested party to it all except for my UGA math major girlfriend but I can tell you Georgia fans can be lunatics also and it would not surprise me if they escalated the piss wars after Ole Miss and everyone joined in.

It was a big deal that day with girls upset and cops with batons moving up upstairs like they were heading to a riot. I loved Athens but did not care for the UGA football scene.

I’ve never had a real bad experience anywhere personally except some rude fans in Lubbock and Wisky fans at the Rose Bowl. Most fans are decent I think.

Aggy lost to shitty MSU and should’ve lost to Colorado. They’ve got 1 great win and the rest of their season is as shitty or worse than ours.
