Leon should have come here, let Yancy bulk him up, and played OLB.

When the wheels fall off for Jimbo in October, he is going to get his lackeys who are also economically to aggy athletics to start bleating “Jimbo’s problem is he doesn’t yet have ‘his guys’ and is being held back by ‘Sumlin’s recruiting mistakes’”

Conformity to that line of aggyspeak will buy Jimbo two more years, but it will also be a signal to players such as Leon, James Foster, etc, that Jimbo is throwing the players under the bus and they need to hit the transfer portal immediately.

When TexAgs starts with that line of bullshit, we all will know what is going on inside that program.

I see no reason to expect them to beat both Mississippi teams as I had previously assumed.  They're way worse than I thought they would be.

Have you seen the Mississippi teams, though?

We are talking seriously dog-shit level for both of them. I still think aggy will sleep-walk to seven wins, and they will beat the spread against Georgia and Bama (LSU will run it up), which would be enough for them to keep puffing out their little grackle chests and bleating about being the "bestest five loss team evar".

Stupid? Yes, stupid as only aggy could be. But that is the future I think is most likely.

That's bound to happen anyway. Jimbo Fisher doesn't admit to or acknowledge mistakes. They're always someone else's fault.

Bama, Clemson and aggy all have an off-week this week. That means when Bama hits the field against aggy the week following they will be within scent of the number 1 ranking after Clemson's weak showing to UNC yesterday. Bama will have every incentive to destroy aggy and they're so soft that it seems there's a reasonable possibility that a good portion of the aggy team won't be able to play against Ole Miss the week after. I'm holding out hope that they get swept by the state of MS again this year.

If you're going to play along with that simpleton's schtick, that is your choice, but multi-quoting a half-dozen of his stupid posts so those of us with him on ignore have to put up with that bullshit is neg-worthy, dipshit.

Edit-- oh, great, so Phlegm has figured out how to make socks now. Wonderful. He's metastasized.

Someone should then point out to Texags how most of the roster was in the Liucci 44

This can't be other than a troll. The ags can't seriously be asking themselves whether they would trade their current record of "success" with that of OU, especially under Lincoln Riley.

If this isn't one of you magnificent bastards trolling those white trash idiots, they are more delusional, and utterly subservient to their "betters," than even I imagined.

I don't post often because I am not much of a writer. I do love the Ags though.

One thing I have realized is that while we may not be a good team right now, we are a member of the greatest conference in America and nobody can take that away from us.

Jimbo has us headed in the right direction but this rebuild could take years until he gets his players in here. In the meantime, we should enjoy the fact that Bama and Georgia are going to carry the torch for this conference. Let's get behind them and enjoy the ride.

What say ye?

Would you rather be in the middle of the SEC or at the top of the BDF? I like where we are.

aggy troll season is quickly overtaking aggy de-commit season as my favorite season.

I am going to go out on a limb and bet exactly ZERO UNC players give up the opportunity to get a degree from UNC to instead play for Jimbo and get an "Agricultural Leadership" degree from A&M, or any other third-rate degree from a redneck, white trash SEC school.

Mack Brown Took A Dive - why

NC defense kept them in the game yet with 1:26 remaining MB goes for two which did not secure the win, did not force Clemson to score a touchdown, it only guaranteed Clemson a win and CFP trip.

Crazy old man?
A way to maybe stop his old team from getting into the CFP?
Is CF fixed?
Is Mack that stupid?

Jimbo is the best in the business right now
Some of those kids on NC D are going to want out of that ignorance

Because of the holes in the 2-deep, Jimbo has limited options to address the schematic weaknesses on both sides of the ball. Remember Leon O’Neal was the highest ranked recruit in his class. He has been a complete bust. And there are no surprise 3* recruits playing at a 5* level, and no transfers from Kansas playing as the star of the team.

With two weeks to prepare, if aggy gets crushed by Alabama, with o signs of improvement, they may well struggle to go 6-6. Their cultural stupidity expecting Jimbo to lead them to the promised land comes with the inevitable hangover when reality sets in.

They have little margin of error to demonstrate they are building toward something. The Arky game was a win on the schedule, but a loss toward their efforts to show Jimbo is about to turn the corner. They continue to look like the same old aggy and like Jimbo isn’t the difference maker they are paying him to be.

A stellar post with nothing about the need for a divorce.

And i'm #2 on the full divorce bandwagon.

they are poised at the edge of their own personal event horizon with zero margin for error.

repped.

I am an Arkansas fan and me and my family were lost on Division Street in Arlington.  I thought we were about to run into the seedy side of town with strip clubs and dildo shops, but luckily an aggy saw our dilemma and steered us toward the beautiful ATT Stadium.  We paid the $60 dollar parking fee and walked the 3 mile walk to the stadium.  The aggy stayed with us all the way to make sure we did not have a heat stroke.  When we got to the stadium the aggy pointed me to a tailgate where our whole family got a chance to "Whoop" and "Pig Sooey" among new friends. aggy has the greatest fans in the whole world.

aggy "logic" is priceless when they attempt to spin aggy ineptitude into "evidence" of "aggy greatness."

This week, they are also beginning to wonder if their culture has some "unidentifiable" part to play in their incessant struggles. What I am seeing that I haven't seen lately is their sanctimonious pledges of loyalty to their school and to be calling out others for not being "good aggys." (unapproved speech)

Fucking hilarious. White trash, redneck confusion about what is so obvious to the rest of us is a never ending source of comedy.

(The idiot who wrote the bottom post claims he has personally spoken with CDC about conference realignment and CDC has expressed Texas would switch to the SEC "in a NY minute" because of the opportunity to gain greater exposure. But aggys don't lie, cheat or steal...)

While I consider myself a diehard Aggie and have since my fall semester in 1993, I have a confession to make:

I have not acted honorably to my school, fellow Aggies, and sports programs. I have vented frustration publicly, have spoken negatively about the fans, athletes, and especially coaches over the years. I find this behavior and attitude is growing among my fellow Aggies. The 'Spirit of Aggieland' is fading and I'm partially to blame for this.

Therefore, I make a pledge to this community, this school, and Aggies everywhere that my behavior, my words, and my reflections, even during emotionally high or low moments, will NOW reflect honorably. I will not speak negatively about players ever, and will only speak about coaching decisions with positive discernment going forward.

I pledge to be an Aggie, true to each other as Aggies should be.

Have you seen our facilities?
Have you seen our barbershop?
Our fans in game day whether home or away are always told they are the nicest!
We don't throw batteries.
We don't rip down goal post and ram them into opposing fans.
We don't trash opposing teams cars visiting us for a game.

Adding A&M and Missour to the SEC is viewed by the sports marketing world as sheer genius. Adding 4 major TV markets to create a national market that makes a national brand. So yeah, A&M is a success.

Now, they're having growing pains that were expected, but let's review the move with a little more time to have a more clear picture.

Personally, every AD I have talked with, including Texas and Big 12 AD's, would switch in a NY minute given the quality of the SEC exposure and most important, revenue streams, both current and future.

Texas envy of a school that is not considered a rival is both sad and predictable.

Has construction even started on the new event center yet?

You we're Texas.

yeah the SEC was just a little regional conference before A&M joined

Kansas City, Dallas, Houston, and either San Antonio or Austin.

Even with those markets, SECN delivers the same T3 money to SEC schools that WVa receives from its T3 deal. SECN simply has not been the financial bonanza people (cough*Clay Travis*cough) expected. No one in any of those markets quit watching their favorite college team on tv to instead watch A&M play Lamar or South Carolina play Middle South Dakota Tech on SECN.

Texas A&M is not, and never will be, a national brand. They don't recruit athletes or students nationally. The large majority of their "former students" remain in very well established areas of Texas. They will never have a nationally dispersed base of "former students." They have a culture that, because of shifting national demographics and the rigidly static nature of aggy culture, is becoming further and further removed from the demographics of the predominant national audience watching college sports.

Even Clemson is struggling to be a national brand. When they are not playing a quality opponent, not many people care to watch Clemson (Clemson/Syr drew fewer viewers than UT/Okie Lite, Duke/Bama, or Army/Michigan).
