Watch his tape, he’s indeed skinny. 95% of the plays are from him playing DE/edge, so I’m not sure how they can extrapolate TE take, but whatever the case, I suspect he’s a long way from contributing.

Between this and the guy who looks like he'll be around 320 lbs after a year or two in college, I think we decided to just be hilarious at TE this cycle.

It feels like this every year with sark we always lead for everyone then all of a sudden we don’t and they commit elsewhere but we still finish strong. That first year it was the worst 4th of July ever lol I think that was with banks, cam Williams, and other iirc.

Last year was similar, can’t remember the names and then all of a sudden we have the number 1 class and good DTs.

A few weeks ago when it seemed like we were gonna land everyone and have to tell people no I was thinking yeah right it never ends up that way. Recruiting is a roller coaster.

RB sucks but it’s one of the best to get in the portal. ou got one, Ohio state got the dude from ole miss. Similar to WR

I don’t think fans are too worried about QB right now….Quinn to Arch to Bell is pretty amazing. It’s the rest of the position that aren’t. P/K/LS/QB-we’re solid.

So, your position is that we’re not loaded with talent at Edge, at DL, at the OL, Safety, and maybe CB?

Sark brings the big guns late, after they have shown senior year trajectories. Kinda makes tracking early stage recruiting boring.

I'd say depending on the guys we land this class on the interior DL we will finally be loaded a that position and may not need portal like we did this year moving forward.

What? You don't find it entertaining that The Elk has flexed his flab and stuffed poor Sark into a locker? It's all over the Internet, which we know is never wrong.

You guys beat this rockymountain dude up Monday for another doom and gloom take. Either he’s trolling or he likes getting that bare ass spanked.

Did I read here or elsewhere that the cali TE is rhonda rousey's stepson?

Gerry has been saying that on every OTF livestream/video.

Maybe he’s just really unintelligent, young, and has no real concept of what’s on our roster?

If you re-define "we always lead for everyone" to "based on Inside Texas hearsay from overconfident anonymous sources we lead for everyone" the roller coaster wouldnt feel quite as crazy.

Kid on the right 7 years ago could be our starting TE a decade later.

A few notes on the recruits on OVs, courtesy Hank South / Horns 247.

Kaiden Prothro - came with his mom and his coach.

Keawe Brown - with his parents (Ronda??  Don't know).  (I bet you he doesn't have to put up with too many "Your Mom!" jokes ... )

Dia Bell - came in last night, straight from the Elite 11 Finals (MVP! MVP!)

Trenton Henderson - with his Mom, Dad, and little brother.

James Johnson - it's his birthday.

Tyler Atkinson - with his Dad, and a "couple of others".

Richard Wesley - with his Dad and his trainer.

This fucking guy…

Anyone remember what the infamous porn link led to? His shenanigans on the OTF live streams may corroborate his, uh, "interests."

He goes after a lot of the best of the best targets at each position, makes a good enough impression to be in it with many of them, loses out on many because they are the cream of the crop and the competition is fierce, but gets a few, then circles back around with the next level really strong guys to close. It’s a solid approach.

I wonder if sark and co. talk to recruits about making real money at the retention part of roster building. Competitive offer as a high schooler but real money if you put in work and develop into a contributor, we pay well. Either way recruiting will be fine.

He probably hasn't thought of that. You should send him an email with talking points.

I also think it’s a good fit for a new eligibility environment in which players can transfer so easily.  There’s going to be occasions in which a good first impression results in a second look if their first college pick doesn’t work out.

Ya I was surprised Duece Robinson wasn’t rumored at one point when he left USC.
