Times in UTC

I think it must have something to do with Firefox. I just opened up Brave and it shows Central Standard Time, specifically "Times in America/Chicago". Microsoft Edge is correct too. Might have something to do with my privacy settings.

yeah, the page looks to the browser to tell it what the time zone it is. I can't really do much for that.

No prob. Just glad I figured out it was on my end and spare you any further wild goose chasing.

this is great. there was some.... sports betting guy or someone who would do a grid like this every week and post it on twitter, I had a link to his twitter account just for that purpose. but then he stopped and I cursed at the sky wondering why nobody fucking does this

Love stadium mode (currently at DKR) but needs a sort function, hard to quickly see the active scores with all the final ones intermixed.

It has a sort function, but I seem to be getting the same result as you.  Have "In Progress" selected but getting "Finals" as well.

edit: Only on mobile.  Laptop works as expected.

Where is the sort on stadium mode?

great feedback guys, have to knock out a few things on the back end and will get on some of these suggestions

From an IP perspective, any issues with "recycling" ESPN's data through the apis?  Do they have terms and conditions for the re-use or is it just open-source or something similar?

Probably but haven't read deeply into the t's + c's.

There's a whole community out there using them. I did find another source and will switch to that if espn sends me a note. Other people use the same api's and have said as long as you don't hit it more than 500 times in a day they really don't care.

Also there is now a upcoming/in progress/final dropdown on the stadium version

Bump for this weekend’s games.

Also, this has probably been covered up thread, but <insert aintnobodygottimeforthat.gif>:

Instead of a specific date for the scoreboard, have you thought about doing “Week 4,” etc.  Usually I want to see how everyone in a conference is doing in a particular week, and if X team played on Thursday, Friday, etc., it doesn’t show up.

If you drill down into one of the scores, the weather is showing as something like 1,42. 42 seems to be the weather in degrees. The one seems to be an AccuWeather code for sunny cloudy whatever.

would like some feedback on a new version, added a dark mode and redid some stuff that should make it faster:
https://cfbscoreboard.com/index2.html

click on Light/Dark at the bottom to change to dark
then go to sat aug 30th or sep 6th to see a lot of games
let me know if you like the logo's on the left or right of the game boxes
and any other comments/fixes you think it needs

Everything looks good on my desktop.  Just tried it on my phone and I can't see a dark mode.  Can it be added mobil?  I am using Chrome on an Andriod.

Dark mode on desktop >>>>>light mode.  I like the layout on my phone as well.

I can see it on Firefox on Android FWIW, it's not a button or anything just text that says Light/Dark that you tap

Like Brian said it's just a light/dark at the bottom. If you don't see it you're probably on the wrong page. It's not on the current home page, but at
https://cfbscoreboard.com/index2.html

@blacklab sorry if you have addressed this earlier, but have you thought about scraping box score data or using an API like CFBD for real time stats?

I looked at cfbd and they have some cool stuff and I will get my data from there if espn changes there stuff up.

The reason I haven't done stats is espn and other places do them just fine. You can click on the team logo to be taken to the team page or click on the link in the details to be taken to the stats of a game on espn.

The reason/user story around this is that I couldn't find a place on the internet that had this layout of channels and games. The second part is I could not find a place that had scores that was easily filterable in a simple layout. Give me all active P4 games that are within 7 points and what channel they are on is what I'm aiming at for this or what game is coming next on ESPN, do I shut that YTTV window or make it small and move to the corner. The third thing was making something with super low bandwidth that you could get scores from inside the stadium.

I've been working on a paid version that will have multiple sports books, allow searches for middle opportunities, line histories, live betting middling opportunities, allow you to order the channels and ignore channels you don't care about, set favorite teams and get text updates of scores while you're at the stadium.
