When did Ana hack Stassney’s account?

nah...Stassney is way better and possibly actually legitimate at #bothsides. Ana is a #bothsides pretender, we all know what side he's actually on.

they do both talk in smug riddlespeak though, so i can see the confusion.

I sure as shit hope the President does have more power and sway then mayor of NYC.

Wait I thought you said the voters get to decide? If NYC elects a democratic socialist as mayor to implement change in that city don’t you support their right to do so? Of course not because you’re a lying sack of shit who only cares what your dear leader says.

Yes I did. His tweet is not nefarious at all or that of a dictator. Being on a Texas board you should be used to seeing Blue city mayors get stuffed in lockers.

New York hasn’t decided shit yet. Mamadani won a primary. There is a Republican. The incumbent is running as independent. I believe Cuomo could still possibly run on the outside.

“My dear leader”  The nerve on some of you drive by commenters who ignore years of post history to sound like teenagers who don’t get their way is as unsurprising as labeling another Trump tweet exhibit 1636351 that he’s Hitler.

Lol

A Republican is never winning the NY mayoral general election and neither is anyone that runs as an independent, especially not Cuomo or Adams who both managed to set records in the low approval ratings department. This is weapons grade cope.

Yeah let’s denaturalize and deport a candidate because you don’t like him. Just normal politics. Total derangement syndrome if you think it’s a problem. Those boots must taste like candy. “Drive by post….” lol, every accusation…

Wild that Rex had his account deleted and stole Stassney's

I Believe ranked choice voting only occurs in primaries and special elections. There will be a 3 or possibly 4 way vote split. It’s entirely possible Cuomo or the Republican can get enough in a general election. That is not cope, it is math.

Two observations about the below:

  • The visual contradicts the story. Lazy. Stupid.
  • "Badly missing..." is pretty amusing use of understatement and irony. I sense a trapped independent thinker among the college boy journalists.

It means there are plenty jobs out there if these damn 38 year olds would stop playing video games and stop getting $3,000 5 years ago. Or something else an old white guy that runs a company/country would say.

Republicans will run Sliwa again who is a weird loser that has barely any motion. Cuomo and Adams are both deeply unpopular and NYC voters are pulling the lever for the Democratic candidate. You can cope about it all you want for whatever bitch made reason you can come up with and come apologize when I'm right.

It’s 👏 not 👏 unexpected 👏

Tariffs (and especially the volatility and inconsistency in implementing them) are causing companies to hoard cash and either freeze new hires or reduce headcount as they try to wade through the impact of everything costing more. This result was entirely predictable and guess what? We’re at the tip of the iceberg. We haven’t even seen the full effects of empty shelves or of decimated labor from ICE abductions. By next summer we will be in a full blown recession and it will likely bring on a global depression.

And somehow people believe Trump is good for business? Only if it’s owned by Trump and he’s using as a front to accept bribes

When do we find out, officially, if we are in a recession?

Once it surpasses the Great Recession.

Ya know, a lot of people are saying this is the greatest recession of all time...

No need for a budget when he has this.....

Unexpectedly, huh.

what would a trend line for Feb- May indicate would happen in June?

hell, go back to October on that chart and trend it and I think it would go negative by June.  Maybe even.

basically the entirety of time after the election, this number has trended towards going negative in June.  Whatever value that number has to begin with.

unexpected.

Two of the last four mayors of NYC were Republicans and one of the Republicans also won the office as an independent.

CBS agrees to a 16 million bribe by Trump. Why was this suit filed in Amarillo?

CBS News parent Paramount Global has agreed to pay $16 million to resolve an extraordinary lawsuit filed by President Donald Trump over a “60 Minutes” news report last fall.

The long-gestating and highly controversial settlement payment was announced by Paramount late Tuesday night.

Paramount said the $16 million sum “includes plaintiffs’ fees and costs,” and will not be paid to Trump directly, but instead will be allocated to Trump’s future presidential library — mirroring a settlement agreement that Disney’s ABC struck with Trump last December.

Isn’t it because it’s an extremely MAGA/Trump-friendly court?

The answer is that under the current administration they have no basic human rights.  The way they're being treated they might as well be animals and most animals are treated better.

And where the fuck is Congress?  Where are the fucking guardrails that are supposed to be keeping shit like this from happening?

It's not humane.  It sure as hell ain't Christian.

Guardrails?  Those left the GOP 10 years ago, and they ain't ever coming back.

Also, it's not Christian, but it's "Christian!"  Let's all pray!

There are some people. Nowhere near a majority. That's a lot of why we're at this point.

I've greatly reduced my news intake for my own sanity. I allow myself 3-5 minutes to be angry about this, but that's all. At my previous consumption levels I would be angry half the day.
