William Yeldell Cosper was struck by lightning on his front porch, lived, then was struck by lightning again and died. He was buried, then his tombstone was struck by lightning and destroyed. His family erected a new tombstone -- which was also destroyed by lightning. The family gave up and left the small pile of rubble to mark Bill's grave.

It's on the internet so we have to believe it, right?

The pilot was a woman. The jokes write themselves.

Control Tower: "Uh...you might want to stop rocking the plane. Maybe we can divert you to runway 23?"

Pilot: (Tone)

I worked with a guy about 15 years ago that was hit just like this by a small twin engine as it was coming into Hobby and he was driving down Telephone road. Smushed down the driver side about 6" and the passenger about a 18" or more.  Prop tracks across the hood.  He's lucky he is a short guy and the roof didn't come down enough to hit him.  He didn't realize it was a plane until he pulled over and got out and eventually saw the place wreckage.
