There you go.  Flores should have swung at every pitch

Didn’t we lead 2-1 to start this inning? Either we resume where we are or the games over we win.

Skip is stalling for the weather hoping they will revert to the score at the beginning of the inning.

He timed it perfectly. Looks like play is done for the day, inning will be erased.

No.

Plus gooner still have at bats.

Depending on lighting delay and or suspension, this game will go back to a 1-1 tie.

This inning is also an exemplar of why a ton of strikeouts are bad.  Put the ball in play, you bring lucky/fluke hits and errors into play. Much more common than dropped third strikes.  Certainly at this level.

Georgia takes the Aggie series

Looks like pig will take the Tennessee series (7-2 5th)

Gata up 4-1  in the fourth trying to take the Bama series (which would be our 6th series win in a row)

LSU up 4-2 in the seventh trying to take that series with South Carolina

Vandy looking to sweep Kentucky.( 5-3 7th)

If the finish of the game is delayed I'm afraid they will start the inning over tomorrow.  From the beginning, not 4-1.

Stars from where left off and count.

This happened a few yrs ago at the Disch against OSU (or Tech???) and first game was finished form where left off before starting Sunday's game.

Hell I don’t know. I’m not an umpire

The rule says that on an initial play at first base, the defense uses the white bag and the runner uses the green bag.  The runner is out if he touches "only the white bag".  It is appealable, but it's not really clear whether it's reviewable or not.  It is not specifically in either the reviewable or non-reviewable sections of the rule.  However, whether or not a runner touches a base is reviewable, so maybe it is.  Looked to me on the replay like he clearly touched at least part of the green bag.

I don’t think they can do a second review on a play that’s already been reviewed and ruled on.

What? In what universe does it make any sense to pretend the play didn’t occur? Surely we’re not this stupid.

Can we get Qatar or some other Middle Eastern country to donate us a mid size plane that our players can use whenever they want?

I have no idea what rule people are citing on this. NCAA rule 5-9 says a halted game begins exactly where it left off. I know of no rule that would reset an inning.

Nothing in the rules addresses that.  Obviously, it would be stupid to ask for a review of something that has been ruled on, but if you're asking for a ruling on a different aspect of the same play, which maybe the umps didn't consider, then nothing in the rules would prohibit it.  On closer reading of the rules, it appears that whether or not a runner touched the white or green bag is not reviewable.  The review rules specify whether or not a runner touches a base is reviewable, but only under rule 8-6.  The white bag/green bag rule at first is rule 1-7-b.
