For the sake of accuracy, you have given two. Everyone's rep activity is public.

We're actually tied at that #.

I honestly don't even know which one is the neg rep....the middle finger?

Patty Loveless could sing every name in the phone book and I would listen.

This guy in is an up and coming star..son of a high school classmate of mine..Very smooth, almost Don Williams like.

Speaking of Patty Loveless, it's always a good grounding exercise to watch her step up and take over for her buddy Vince Gill (a previous mention on this thread) when he breaks down at George Jones' funeral.  His voice and tone are brilliant for a verse and the first line of the first chorus, and then it's basically Patty supporting him for most of the song.  Brilliant, real time performances in a tough environment:

Big fan of William Beckman and he was on my potential list of five.  We've seen him a couple times and his voice is incredible.  This song isn't country, but highlights his voice and range.

I had mentioned this before, but a few years ago my family and I were lucky enough to see Vince play in a really small venue. I would classify his talent as 1/3 vocalist, 1/3 guitarist, and 1/3 comedian. He is hilarious.

Yeah, he kills that cover live. Saw him for the first time at the REK retirement deal at Floore’s after REK’s “last” concert, and he sang this one. I immediately asked my wife, “who the fuck is that?”

Not necessarily my favorite or the best, but this thread concept seems kind of fluid as to whether we’re talking best voice or most iconic. Thought these dudes were worth mentioning.

I don't read it as "best" or "most iconic."  "Favorite" doesn't have to mean either one of those things so just name who you like most.  Agree that all of those are indeed worth mentioning.

Willie Nelson

Patsy Cline

Waylon Jennings

Johnny Cash

Jerry Reed (outside pick because while it's not a classically great country voice, I sure do like it . . . son).

*Honorable Mention: Johnny Lee and Sturgil Simpson

No Stapleton on the first page. Be better surly.

Charlie Pride

Waylon

Cash

Hank Williams

Honorable mention to Jerry Jeff Walker. Not sure if he’s the best vocalist, but I love his voice and his sound.

Well I would say my other voices would be Chris Stapleton, Charlie Rich and Vern Godsin. Not necessarily my favorite artists other than Stapleton, but voices.
