Why do I get the feeling a lot of us are going to be up late tonight on this thread rooting for Tree

Because we love college football?

Lining up in I formation on 4th and 2 to run a fucking play-action pass is the most no fucking duh bullshit alive. Nobody is seriously lining up to run for 2 goddamn yards on 4th down in 2025

we need to cancel the nd series asap

The ND series is probably the most important one NOT to cancel. Someone has to give them a loss and keep them out.

aggy gave them a loss this season. Didn't matter because they're Notre Dame and will still make the playoffs ( as long as they beat Stanford )

how did ou get so highly ranked?  we should pass them

They beat Tennessee and Bama on the road and Mizzou at home late in the season when all three teams were ranked.  Never mind that we all know Tennessee and Mizzou were overrated.

Nah they need us more than we need them

Call the lawyers and break the scheduled with OSU and Michigan. It’s detrimental to the future success of Texas to play those games.

the committee lied about taking schedule into account, and tough OOC scheduling. Especially road games.

How does meth land get ahead of texas if our conference record is the same but yet texas beat them.

because OU beat a bad Michigan team at home bu 11 and Texas lost to #1 Ohio St by 7 on the road. Pretty much.

Once again why they shouldn’t schedule them.

Now that Vandy and OU are 10-2, Sark and our media team need to emphasize that we would also be 10-2 if we played Syracuse instead of Ohio State. So, with equal records in mind, Texas has head to head wins over BOTH of those teams therefore Texas should be ranked ahead of both Vandy and OU. (I have little faith this happens)

Except the could monkey around the final rankings on December 7 as long as they can justify it.

Wonder if the OSU/UM games can even be cancelled since we already played both on Fox. ABC/ESPN will want their cut. At the very least it would be expensive. ND needs to be canceled on Wednesday. Good riddance to those fuckers, they don't deserve any big games until they join a fucking conference.

OU played Michigan. They are above us. Vandy played nobody. That's why we will be ahead of them. Bama needs to lose for us to have a shot. It also is our strongest case. Because it preserves the quality of our OU win and both Bama and Texas beat the fighting Pavias.

LSU just played about the worst game you could play with a dual threat QB. 1-14 on 3rd/4th downs. Losery ass losers in a 3rd world country-state.

And almost beat a “playoff team”

This day has gone pretty bad for Texas.

Aside from Michigan losing, the other 5+ things we needed to happen were all long shots. The 8% chance of making the playoffs after the aggy win was that low for a reason.

And yet somehow based on the same model OU had a 41% chance of making it even if they lost today?

The system is broken. Go independent. Fuck conferences.

When they take two loss ou and two loss vandy ahead of us, it's going to be bullshit.

At least you can argue OU played a hard schedule
