Seems Joseph has grown up and at least figured out a system to manage the ladies in his life. Stephen would be wise to take notes.

Aside from having the personal character resembling something that drips from an ape's ass, he sucks as a football coach now and he's averse to adapting to new offensive schemes.

he’s literally never not won.  he’s a goddamn winning machine.  outside of the miserably tired moral high-grounding a reason does not exist that would justify not pursuing him.  he fucking wins.  more than kiffin or deboer or anyone else not named saban.  I want to fucking win.  bring in that sleazy shithead to cement his legacy with one last run.  stay here for five years, win two championships, and ride off into the sunset to retirement on lake austin.

Agree with this. Urban was a machine at UF and OSU and didn't just forget how to win. Penn State made a mistake by writing him off so early due to unfavorable view on NIL.

the open question is whether or not the way he treats players translates into 2026

Urban Meyer's record at Ohio State was 83-9 overall, with his yearly records being:

12-0 (2012), 12-2 (2013), 14-1 (2014), 12-1 (2015), 11-2 (2016), 12-2 (2017), and 11-1 (2018).

How would Urban do in the transfer portal era?  Would he just run everybody off every year?

You guys act like getting a lap dance in a bar is a bad thing……

The portal and NIL with expanded staff positions make it easier because you can rebuild faster and correct recruiting busts and holes. I have no doubt urban would put the right staff in place to wreck shit in the portal and NIL.

Fucking people that don’t require an HR call is way different then neglecting your job because you’re too busy sucking off a vodka bottle.

He's a retard who only won because he could hold scholarships over people's heads to get them not to transfer. Good luck with that in the NIL era.

Yeah, college is a lot more like the NFL now.  Do we have any idea about him and the NFL?

UMs worst 2 seasons were 8-5 his last year at UF and 9-4 at UF sandwiched between MNCs.  Overall 187-32 (.854 %) Hes had fewer than 3 losses in 12 of his 17 seasons.

Our guy is 91-55 (.623). In his 12 years as HC he has had one season with fewer than 3 losses and that’s the best he’s managed, 2015  doesn’t count.

Of current coaches with 10+ years as HC, he comes in at 14, just nudging out Ferentz, Norvell, Bielema, and Freeze for that lofty ranking, he’s got a ways to go to catch Luke Fickel.

Include all coaches and you get a list of the usual suspects, DeBoer, Day, Smart, Cignetti, Lanning, Freeman, etc and you have to go down into the 50’s before you get to Sark and his peers.

Rattle his cage again, see if he’s bored in the booth.  Take him to Matt’s on a Saturday night and see what’s up.
