it’s a bullshit rule ruining the game.  You can have the before mentioned spearing, but targeting as it is today is subjective horse shit.

And depending on the review crew, it’s a 50/50 on which way it will go.

Shut the fuck up. That wasn't targeting and I would never want it to be called targeting. The head contact was incidental, and he made a normal football tackle.

If that was targeting, then the only way to play defense legally is to not have a head.

Are we the only team that gets  called for holding in this league?

OU did in our game against them and I thought I had a stroke.

Wouldn't surprise me to see Pig do something like an onside kick here.

Given that we've been caught multiple times running away prematurely resulting in onside recovery, I wouldn't be surprised either.

“Ruining the game.”

ChatGPT: On average, there are about 0.2 targeting fouls enforced per FBS college football game, i.e. roughly one every five games.

not only that, but OU's holding call was early in the game, when it really mattered.  Too many times I have seen a call given to us after the game is over.

This.

The guy he tackled is 5’5”.

I can’t see any other way to tackle him.
The dude would have ripped off 30 yards had he missed
