WE GOT ONE

I assume we don’t have to fly him down, his family does it for us?

Moved from defensive tackle to guard. He said guard is where he belonged.

I clicked on this thread expecting he'd be a basketball guard since I'd lost any hope for adding any interior o-line.

We have seen guys that portaled out get to the second level much faster then this guy. They are high school highlights though so he may have picked up coordination and speed. Hope he helps us.

Thanks for thr video. Giant kid, yet despite the college OL weight gain regimen, still seems pretty lean (ie not a fatty). Background as a DL would seem to indicate versatility and athleticism. Obviously nervous at the beginning of the news conference but found his way as he went along… smarts and adaptability! 🤣

Welcome to Texas, Dylan! We look forward to much success.

Fucking finally. Glad he didn't listen to that poster that said the University of fucking Texas was a bad fit for a guy who wants to own a ranch. Hook 'em!

It's amazing to go to another board like 247 and see posts like "he's ranked lower than Stroh and Kibble in the portal!!"

ISWYDT

Well I guess I can drain the tub and put away the razor blades then...

This guy a starter as a RS fresh?

Any PFF boys wanna share the data relative to who he's replacing?

OSU, but it feels good to at least know we have a body at the position

Doesn't matter how fast you are if you take bad angles or can't make contact with good balance.

His feet don't look great in those highlights though. I'll check him out whenever I get the time/motivation

I don't care about you guys watching his high school film. I only care about what offers he got this transfer cycle. Because who wants you now is the best we got.

See? Vols couldn't hang with us. I just had a feeling indoor plumbing would matter.

Believe he also visited Arkansas and Tennessee.

I’m no Ian Boyd (and for that I’m eternally grateful) and think I’m a personnel expert, especially for OL, but I just watched the tape and there’s plenty to like of him putting defenders on their asses. A couple times when he seemed to be slow sprinting downfield was because the LB was slow playing and didn’t want to engage, so Sikorski slows down to get the angle. And I’m sure he’s improved in the last two years and gotten stronger.

Plus, there’s actually a shot him playing wildcat QB, running it in for a TD 😂. Would seem to indicate his coaches thought he had good athleticism.

Connor Stroh could get to the second level and not block anyone so quickly because he also didn't bother blocking at the first level.

Interesting that you think Connor Stroh is a candidate for getting to the second level considering he was always getting pulled down or whiffing and losing his balance. Yet it is my bad I was thinking of Nick Brooks and he has not portaled out.

Did he slide to the second level on his big ass from 3 yards behind the LOS

Ha, that makes sense. Brooks has a lot of potential. He was playing out of position with little training. I expect him to eventually be a good player.

Since I started posting Elisha on the recruiting posts again, we are getting more of them.

And I don't care if she's photoshopped, implanted, from Canada, or in her 40's.

Please don't make any rash decisions without lots of deep thought and reflecttion.

Kidding...we're all happy today.

I can’t read Japanese. I assume this says:

“Portal Kombat, Size Queen” or

“Huge Beaver, Portal Addition”

Either way, it, uh, fits…Welcome, Dylan🤘
