Oklahoma State is going to rape us.

He never has kidded us. It is simply by chance or divine intervention that we are 6-1 and not 1-6.

Even with Sam, we don't have a prayer. Okie Lite and T. Boone's officiating crew are going to bury us. Our best bet would be to forfeit and take the 7-0 loss.

I remember Vince Young putting on the after-burners on the Oklahoma State defense...

I was sitting at the 25 yard line, camera side for this play. As Vince rolled out I was hoping for him to make something happen. Saw Woods and thought oh no,  but then the pump got Woods air and as Vince started streaking down the sideline, in our section it just my dad and me screaming go go go. The ok state fans had gone silent. I’ll never forget that play and that moment!

Genuinely concerned this week.  Just feels like one of these weeks the close game won’t go our way.  I’ll probably feel this way the next 4 games, unless we start playing 4 quarters of good football every game.

Tom Herman teams traditionally struggle against bye.  A lot of times they don't even show up.

Even though I know what’s going on here, if I pretend real hard like I haven’t watched us play this season, this thread makes me happy.

Fear us!

I am dead serious.  Road games at night are brutal.  OSU crowd will be very drunk and very loud.  Texas will be lucky to win this one.

I’d feel the same way if the roles were reversed, but I’ve watched us play. If we come out like our hair is on fire, the line protects our horrible QB just a little, our horrible QB actually is able to throw an accurate pass, and our D plays with 50% of the heart and effort Purdue did last Saturday night...if all that happens. I would be so fucking pissed off if I was you because we have done none of that since conference play started. We haven’t even come close to doing any of that stuff. At least Purdue was on an uptick and you could see it was possible.

Top 10 teams go on the road and beat conference bottom feeders all the time. The only reasons any of us can come up with for why we will win is a bunch hocus pocus bullshit about night game, bye week, drunk crowd, etc. nothing we’ve put on tape should worry you. Come in and punch them in the mouth and they’ll quit before halftime. And here’s the best part- if that doesn’t happen, make a few half time adjustments (because we won’t) and punch them in the mouth after halftime and they’ll quit by the 10 minute mark of the 4th quarter. If UT loses this game, it’s on them. I honestly wouldn’t want to play KU again.

I just realized this post is way out of place in this thread. Consider it a palette cleanser. A reality check if you will. You may now return to your regularly scheduled reverse jinxing.

We never get teams when they are playing like shit. Everyone is always up for us.

Well good. I'm going to this game and I'm more interested in seeing Barry Sanders than I am the game.  I just feel like with the coaches mailing it in, the players are doing the same.  Plus, they aren't very good players at several key positions.  I can't see this team pulling together and playing even 3 good quarters.  Hell, I'll take 2 good quarters.

Barry still has a year of eligibility remaining doesn't he?
