I’m an old and my baby bro and I are considering going to Vegas for the 2026 Super Bowl as neither of us have been there for that event.  This wasn’t on the bucket list, but is under consideration.  We have a hostess and, normally, get our rooms comped at the V/P.  Don’t know if that would extend to the Super Bowl.  Should we pursue this or is it folly?

Sure. If you have an established relationship with the casino it doesn’t hurt to ask about a future comp. They probably offer package deals including game tickets.

I assume you mean to watch it in Vegas since they are not hosting the actual game.

Vegas Super Bowl weekend is pretty fun, all the casinos will have parties some will be invite only and others you can just get a ticket for usually they have open bar/food. I would reach out to your host for sure to see what you can get into.

Thinking about it, conferences and conventions are the lifeblood of Vegas. The only reason I sort of enjoyed the place on my last trip was the private parties where I was able to drink copious amounts of Pappy for free. Unless someone is footing the bill for a Vegas trip, you shouldn't go.
