So a run in which he is untouched and makes no moves proves he’s a 5 star qb?

Eh, according to his bio, he was recently at UT, and now at ACC. I'd cut the kid some slack for the hyperbole.

Haynes King and Malik Hornsby are both really good at running and not so great at passing, I wonder why one is rated a 5 star and one is not

Didn't Jimbo say something this week about Mond not running in his offense for some silly reason?  A detriment to the offense or something?

Running is a coverup for not knowing the whole offense.

Has Jimbo ever utilized a dual threat?  Even with the more athletic kids he’s had at the position, seems like he always forces them to play chained to the pocket.

Winston was the #1 ranked dual threat QB coming out of HS. He rushed for less than 300 yards in his FSU career with a 2/yd per carry average.

Per Bilbo's comments the other day, the QB doesn't need to run in his system. The open throws are always there due to the brilliant play design. The QB only runs when he's too stupid to follow instructions.

He sure recruits a lot of dual threat QBs for a guy that doesn't like running QBs

That really isn’t Jumbos fault.  Winston was ranked as a dual threat because he’s black. He’s slow (5.0) 40 and a pure pocket passer.

But to your point, Jimbo has had plenty of dual threat QBs and none run.

There has to be a Jake Smith joke in there somewhere.

I'm not sure they can beat the 2 Mississippi schools or even Muschamp.  They aren't going to be able to run on any of them.

Ole Miss should be favored at home. They're 2-2 but they played 2 decent teams down to the wire (Memphis and Cal). Cal was ranked this week and Memphis is 4-0. Ole Miss isn't terrible with a FR QB that's getting better each week. If aggy plays like they did today they will lose to Ole Miss.

Reports coming out that after the Arkansas game Jimbo got hit in the face with a volleyball during a players fight in the locker room.

I was also told by a VERY reliable source with connections Elko was given a wedgie by a young defensive contributor.  No word on if it was atomic or not.  They are starting to skid through the season.

nope--once the season starts, your are what your record says you are.  They aren't a top ten team if they barely survive arkie.  But there's a whoooole lot of football losses left for them this season to show them their true place in the pecking order.  Clue: it isn't in the top 25.  Who knows, maybe they can draw a real armed forces team in a bowl game.
