They have to take Price's kid, imo. Can't risk pissing Coach Price off. Jimbo will take Omeire for the rankings.

9 WRs in two classes for a pro style offense. Nice roster management.

And they call us a 7 on 7 team.

This will come to no surprise to most, if you've been paying attention to my clues; but the Texas A&M Aggie were able to secure the commitment of one of the most highly touted WR recruits in the country, Devin Price. Devin was a slow starter nationally due to his aversion to camps, but his stock has grown incredibly through the spring evaluation period, resulting in offers from all over the country. Akron, Kansas, and Boston College have came after him hard, but when coach comes calling, it is hard to resist for any top prospect. Texags will update our rankings in the morning, but you can expect to see Devin in the top 20 in the state, and it is well deserved. Once again, this commitment really shows how relentless coach is on the trail, he won't take no for an answer, but to be honest to you guys, there aren't really any no's. Just sometimes Jimbo has to let guys find another path as spots fill up and his mental calculator is second to none in that regard.

Forgot to add something about the SEC mentality, Aggy network and being a head to head win against either Texas or another blue blood. Otherwise it’s dead on

Man. I love my dad. And id much rather go to a moneybags D1 program than BC or Akron.

But I sure wouldnt want to go to a school where my dad coaches. Especially if its obvious they took me just because my dad was coaching there.

Well BC is a wealthy D1 program. They're just average at football.

Need to add "tough as old leather", "a stringy, wiry athlete". And, I'm not sure how, but it also needs to include "dry af".

Sumlin style recruiting and roster management has proven to be very successful over the long term. Just ask Billy Liucci.

The funniest scenario:

LSU has a terrible season. They have one more game left with many people saying Orgeron will need to beat Aggy to save his job. If he does get fired, there have rumblings Jimbo will bolt to LSU.

Jimbo is recruiting like he's going to enjoy beating these shitty players at another divisional conference foe.

Jimbo to Auburn seems like a mutually miserable match I would love to see happen with the added benefit of imploding aggy's brand even further and leaving them in a lurch.

I have to tell you, if I were LSU, Jimbo is perhaps the one big name coach out there who would make me want to keep Orgeron around because, hey, the Ogre is an idiot, but at least he's not as pathetic as Jimbo.

Seriously.

Not surprising, but it is hilarious. There is more than a small current of gossip flowing out there that Fisher doesn't want to be in College Station. He didn't get Auburn or LSU, and FSU got tired of his shit, and then ATM comes calling. Hey, it's SEC right? In Texas? $75million? Yeah, fuck it, let's do this! Whoop! No, Whoops.

The mix of old man stench plus inferiority driven desperation is a toxic, potent combo.

It's funny because I know a recently retired ~60 year old aggy who is counting the days until his new homes is finished in Collie Station. He's geeked up about it like it's his first girlfriend. Hell, I would NEVER live in that shithole. Certainly can't imagine being anxious to move there.

Quite literally, cost of living has historically been the only thing going for this town for anyone who does not have an aggy association. And that has been falling by the wayside lately, as they have been piling on the bond debt like crazy.

What's really outrageous is to look at the kinds of development that have been taking place based on faulty assumptions about their 100 year decision, and about the likelihood of their medical research corridor taking off, and god only knows what other tomfoolery Sharp believes in. Our son sees a specialist out at the new medical facility, and it is mind boggling how quiet that place is. It wasn't but a few short years ago, Sharp and Perry were proclaiming that it would be a $10 billion a year boon to the College Station economy. Instead, it's a great place to go bird watching -- nice and quiet, with plenty of parking.

Why the fuck did anyone think that medical research was going to happen in college station when there is already a massive medical district in Houston?

I actually drove through that area the last time there. It looked like those buildings were abandoned.

No, not abandoned. There's a family of red tailed hawks nesting in one of the parking garages, and pigeons love the hell out of two of those buildings.

New Tradition! Medical Building Annex Wing #3 Hawks. Better build them a tiny scoreboard up by their nest.

This guy is plenty well-off. His problem is that he's an upper-middle class red ass. He and his wife graduated from aggy. His daughters and sons-in-law went to aggy. At least one of their vehicles is maroon. WHOOP!

He thinks he's returning to Mecca. I'm guessing it won't work out quite like he thinks.

What other medical district would be doing serious research on bestiality related injuries?

I'm tempted to retire in College Station.  What better way to live out your golden years than getting aggy misery mainlined into your veins.

Fuck that. It's the internet era. I can laugh from afar. Plus, there is less chance some fucktard will tear down my fence or that someone will WHOOP! at a wedding or funeral I attend.

The mix of old man stench plus inferiority driven desperation is a toxic, potent combo. It's sort of like watching katfid attempt to be funny regarding punctuation on a sports recruiting forum. Just an ugly, dreary mix of bad bullshit for the audience. Well, Jimbo is an audience of one in CS and the stench might have him ready to head for the exits. A bad season at LSU or Auburn and they already apparently have his agent's number.

I live in Florida and have family and friends that graduated from FSU.  Most of them were worried when he was thought to be leaving for Texas, but I always told them I sure as hell hoped we didn't hire him.  By the time he was flirting with A&M they were ready for anyone but Jimbo to be their coach.

Watching him at A&M is kind of like watching Game of Thrones.  I have no idea how it ends, but I am rooting for him to burn everything to the ground and for everyone to complain about the ending.  I am sure it will be glorious.

Just now, Colonel Sanders said:

I'd  rather he put together a string of 6-6. 5-7 and  7-5 years but atm can't fire him because of that stupid contract.

I'd rather he drop them in the dirt in November, leaving their administration with their pants down, their recruits scrambling, and going somewhere else (let's be honest, probably Auburn?) with absolutely no repercussions because his contract has no fucking buyout.

They have several seniors leaving and 1 JR on the roster, they needed bodies at the position.   Plus with the new portal attrition will be a lot easier for baggins, he will just enter their name for them when he wants to cull guys out of the program.   They may not know they are transferring, but that should be a problem for a Shitbag coach.
