In the grand scheme of the universe, this loss isn't that big a deal.

Except if we run the table win the rest of the games on our schedule and big 12 then the playoff committee looks at our resume and says "Y'all lost to fucking Arkansas Lol"

But that won't happen. Here's to making it to the Big 12 championship somehow.

You squeaked out a victory at the last minute against ECU. Shane Beamer is your coach. You're not SC, and you're not Carolina. You're UofSC and you're not going to win a single secsecsec game this year.

nvm

To try and add a bit of hope the a fucking dumpster fire, I can remember a season when Texas had a disappointing two game start. Or maybe it was just one bad game. Bill Bradley moved from QB to the secondary and James Street stepped in and won about 21 straight games... or something like that.

The real problem might be a coach who couldn't see the difference between Thompson and Card.

Stop. Just stop.

When you get beat so badly in the trenches, have to wonder where the positives are?  Should've known it was bad when we're talking up Freshman offensive linemen.  The qb is green but the offensive line couldn't hold and when it could, Card couldn't get out of his own way. Casey is more decisive but it's too little too late and not until all hope was lost with Card.  Just failed at mostly all phases, except rb, who was never given daylight.

Real lack of talent on D.  Be real and think about Jacoby Jones, Luke Brockermeyer, David Gbenda, Brendan Schooler, BJ Foster, Anthony Cook...and how integral their positions are to what the DC wants to do.  Think about those players and try to imagine why playing a Line that is all 300+ that ISNT FAT, with big receivers that love to block.  Way too many weak spots for a decent game plan with balanced personnel to exploit.  OTOH, how do you get on track vs a strong line and good linebackers, when you have CJones, Okafor, Angilau playing like little pussies, while counting on green receivers.  Whittington just can't be your #1 guy.  He's a Swiss army guy to use creatively while your main WRs draw attention.  This team this year is in full rebuild
