It wouldn't be so bad if it wasn't for the fact that he drops the ball at the WORST GODDAMN TIME!  Drop the fucker against Rice in a game up 30; not there.

How can people not see he is a 1-3 round NFL draft talent. Boggles my mind people from Texas cannot see great talent.

tell us what?

Worthy struggles catching the rock. He fought for the ball at least but as I said way back X doesn't like to catch with his hands. He dropped a few balls. He could've had a monster night if he hangs on to everything that was thrown at him.

He had an important night.  Bama focused so much on him thats why Mitchell had his night.  Mitchell stepped up i mean he's no slouch but x is good. The td catch was amazing

I can't remember us targeting Xavier much in the second half.  It may be that Bama was shading coverage his way, but Mitchell and Sanders played much bigger roles.

They pretty much tried to double X most of the 2nd half

I get that he helps open things up. However, he has to catch those balls that hit him in the hands.

He does, but it seemed like everyone on our team was dropping catchable balls while their guys were making contested catches or bringing in high throws.

All he needs to do is burn you for 6 once to put the fear of God into you for the rest of the game.

Is he still a little sloppy on catching everything he should? Sure.

But he has that dog in him. Everyone is rightly talking about his Willie Mays catch, but that contact and extra YAC on the 3rd and 7 to get the first down was YUGE.

That look/action on AJ Hawk is pretty funny. Dude is into the play.

The more shots/times I see that catch, the more incredible I realize it was. The further you run and the further the ball travels the more difficult it becomes. He caught that what 65-70 yards from where he started, it was as much over the head as the shoulder and with arms extended. I’m not sure there are that many guys alive that catch that. Pretty sure I’ve never seen one like it.

Part I'm even more impressed with is the DB times up grabbing his legs almost exactly when he caught it. To still hold on with a basket catch and impact is amazing

Sheriff: "We're fucked."

That Sheriff was probably realizing in the moment that the domestic violence calls will be through the roof the rest of this season in Birmingham.  His workload just tripled.
