True. The on-camera booger eating and drunken rally speech were BEFORE Sark became the Texas HC.

We still firing him for cause and going big game hunting for Freeman who just missed the playoffs and declined a bowl game or nah?

Not when you dog walk aggy, no rumors come out when you’re 9-3 anyway, you gotta lose to like Florida and not have good practices and stuff to get fired for cause. You’re just being a glizzy goblin.

I finally figured it out. This thread and all the dirt was really code word for Sherrone Moore and Michigan.

Well done

Wait, Sherrone Moore got Sark’s wife pregnant?

The conversation around Sarks personal life will only be amplified over the offseason if he loses to Michigan. Let’s beat Michigan

I think we are past that stage. There was a point this season where if things didnt go our way we could've seen an unraveling of the whole Sark era. Our toes were right up against the line of that scenario, but Sark escaped some close calls and posted some big wins and most importantly displayed that he has Arch back on schedule. If we see significant portal investment then I think that signals the $$$ is pressing forward to see the Arch project through despite Sark shitting the bed this season. I also think everyone is looking at the Michigan situation and saying lets try to patch the roof instead of going down a road where we use our own dirty laundry to transition to a new coach and staff. I dont think this bowl game is gonna move the needle much. Sark is going to have to put up or shut up next season either way.

And if his plan is to run off after Arch is drafted anyway it won't matter.

My guess is the $$$ will decide if they want to start a new cycle with Sark and Dia Bell after next season. If Sark doesnt make a playoff run I'd bet he's gone.

I don't think anyone cares that much about a meaningless bowl game with half the team opting out

Speak for yourself.  I care about every game.  I'm looking forward to seeing some of the younger players work their way into bigger roles.  This game and the practices go a long way to that end.

Sark is a fucking moron. Wholesale change on defense 9 months before your best chance at a run at the title? And Kyle fucking Flood is still cashing a paycheck?

Fuck you you fucking fuck

Fuck off Sark. PK deserved better than to be fired. fix your side of the fucking ball or we'll lose at least three next year.

He's being replaced by a better coach. Do you think he would have accepted a demotion?

PK had the #2 ranked scoring defense in '24, I doubt hiring meathead Muschamp is really gonna make that much of a difference if Sark doesnt unfuck his side of the ball. This reeks of making a changes to prove he's shaking things up, and yet the actual issues (Sark OC and Flood) remain.

Yeah. What a waste of the maximum number of yearly coaching changes allowed by the NCAA!

At first I was shocked, but this is more than a lateral move.

this is a damn good hire. Look at what Muschamp was doing at UGA as a CoDC and remember this is who Sark originally tried to hire as his DC when Sark was first hired at Texas.

who knows if PK was fired or wanted out, but on paper this is an upgrade.

That would be funny if there were such a rule. The most we can say is that bad hires on offense have been let go and one extremely terrible hire in Flood as of this moment has a job. Hope that is rectified. Upgrading the defense or not won’t fix the oline. And we all hope like hell this is an upgrade but PK was a damn good hire and I wish him well and I loved he ended the season defeating aggy and hope he finds a great landing spot.

I don't even know how involved Muschamp was this year, but here's the last three years of defensive stats for UGA and UT. Seems like a wash to me. I'm not arguing that Muschamp is shit, I'm just saying that PK is a damn fine defensive coordinator in his own right and our '24 defense was nasty as fuck. We weren't losing to UGA and tOSU because of our defense for fucks sake.

Scoring Defense
'25 UGA - #11 (16.8)     Texas - #20 (19.8)
'24 UGA - #24 (21.9)   Texas - #2 (15.3)
'23 UGA - #7 (16.3)      Texas - #12 (18.9)
Average
UGA  #14 (18.3)Texas - #11.3 (18)

Total Defense
'25 UGA - #12 (292.1)      Texas - #29 (336)
'24 UGA - #36 (345.5)    Texas - #4 (283.7)
'23 UGA - #8 (291.3)       Texas - #28 (336.9)
Average
UGA  #18.6 (309.6)    Texas - #20.3 (318.9)
