Saving that for the playoffs was my bet.

I’m not sure that’s the case. I will say it seems like Sark is being as vanilla as possible all around if he can to prevent putting stuff on film. Or maybe he hasn’t thought to do some of it. I’d rather see them use it in a game before they needed it.

I was half joking but arch passing out of those formations as a change of tendency seems inevitable

If we know that then sark knows that. If sark knows that then kirby has to know that. If kirby knows that then sark most definitely knows that he knows that. It’s so simple.

. . . and then Kirby splits his prep time for both threats by Arch + whatever it is Quinn does.

Saban’s Gameday analysis of the first Texas Georgia game showed how difficult Georgia makes it for the QB. Not only do they have hosses up front, they disguise coverages really well. I suspect Sark knew that Arch hadn’t progressed enough to be able to deal with it any better than Quinn.

That’s really the part of the QB position that casual fans can’t easily see. The ability to recognize coverages in a split second and deliver the ball to the right place is really difficult. It’s not always just about throwing a great long ball, or the ability to move around the pocket or run well, or throwing an accurate pass.

Let’s all hope Quinn handles the complexity and pressure better this time around.

A capable running game helps here. Last game OL got stool pushed in and running game didn’t help

CJ echoing the info from OB yesterday.
Spoiler

– I am told Quinn Ewers is still a bit wobbly, but the expectation of course is he will start the game at quarterback for the Longhorns. Ewers started this week off very similar to that of last week in terms of participation and intensity level in practice – which has slowly risen as the week has progressed.

Ewers, even beyond the ankle, isn't 100%, but I do not have confirmation on what the additional irritation is, just that something else is hampering him.

I don’t think he’s been completely healthy since he got hurt vs UTSA. It’s the most logical explanation for struggling more than usual.

What does it say about society that AI can generate a perfect set of cans but can only pair them with a disfigured face and a set of horse teeth?

After watching our big 12 game highlights and Georgia highlights, if we can get the pocket moving and let Quinn be a little more mobile, Georgia is so vulnerable.

I forgot how many dots on the run Q can deliver when he's full strength.

UGA excels quite well at defending the stationary QB .

Georgia was Quinn’s worst game as a Horn. It’s redemption time. Let’s go

I can't remember the exact numbers, but I saw Quinn & Arch's QBR for that game and they were something like 20 and 12.  Jesus we sucked.

Manning is the only way we win a title this year. Or the defense just wins us games.

That throw to Golden in the endzone was good, Golden had a change to make a play but didn't. Difficult catch tho, but all quinn can do is give his WRs the best chance to make a play.

That was a great throw. I agree. Wish Ewers wasnt so streaky.

So far so good. Keep it up Quinn.

He had a great second drive, but the first drive he threw a pick because of a terrible pass. The D bailed him out. Let's see if he can sustain the level of play from the second drive. I am praying yes.

You’re an idiot. That pass was right where it needed to be and was 1:1 coverage.  The defender just got his hand in there and Bond didn’t secure it. That was not a terrible pass.

You are a fucking moron if you believe what you just wrote. The ball was behind him at half the speed it shouldve been thrown which gave time for the defender to get there.
