The Leopards Eating Faces and Unlubed Dildo of Consequences Thread

I was having lunch with my cousin last week, and as we were sitting down eating, an Army dude walked in with a young hispanic male in street clothes. I assume it was a recruiter giving him the sales pitch. Hispanic kid was late teens/ early 20s, clean cut and nicely dressed, but had a bunch of tattoos. My first thought was "If that kid was white I'd assume he was a proud boy type". You know the look...skin fade and hard part, well dressed and well groomed, but then a bunch of tats? Then I start looking at the tats. Is that...yep, sure is...III%er tat just above his left elbow, and oh look...the same "We the People" tat down his forearm as Pete Kegsbreath. I didn't get a good look at the rest of his tats, but I assume there was other WP iconography mixed in there. My first thought was "Great, like we need more of these assholes in the service". My next thought was "Damn Uncle Tomas, how do you think the boys down in Juarez are gonna like those tats once MAGA uses you up and dumps you across the border?".

So when enough resign and there’s a slim dem majority, the new minority reps will just agree to whatever the majority wants, like they claim the dems should have been doing?  Yes?  And special election winners will wait 6 weeks to be seated?  Yes?

The way I read it is that there may be a revolt against Johnson even before the Democrats retake the majority.

Those things always go smoothly for the Republicans.

I am kind of jealous though. I have no idea how shitty a Democratic leader has to be before our losers revolt.

They can be pretty shitty. Jennifer Welch of the "I've Had it" podcast was on "On with Kara Swisher" today and she blows up Hakeem, Schumer and a few others catch some shrapnel from her grenade. I recommend a listen, I need to add that pod to my listen

What’s the Dem equivalent of Trump losing Nick Fuentes, Laura Loomer, and Marjorie Taylor Greene?

None of this is terribly shocking since the only thing the GOP constituent groups can agree on is that they hate paying taxes.

6-8 of those GOP members could band together and change Congress tomorrow. Look at what just Massie did. So, cry me a river you feckless fascists. I hope none of them who empowered this unconstitutional dictatorship ever can hold an elected position again

This.  They could all go in with the Dems and impeach him.  Use Epstein as a reason and be done.  It would need to be all of them, though, and we know that's not going to happen.

Remember 5 years ago when all the "reasonable" rank and file who were just "doing their job" were jumping ship, terrified that they'd be tied to the Trump administration forever? Too little too late, but still commendable. How maybe returned to the fold for a little power and the chance for some menial upward mobility within the GOP?

Fuck. Every. One. Of. Your. Faces.

I hope all of your kids are ashamed of you.

since this ran this morning -- 4 hours ago? -- ive gotten countless text messages from House Republicans agreeing with this sentiment. and saying why the hell should we stay in congress if all we're going to do is vote on censures and be a potted plant.

Au contraire...they also hate people of color.

I am ridiculously attracted to Jayne Mansfield's daughter, Mariska Hargitay.

Oh, and while I'm not attracted to him, this old photo still cracks me up.  Well done, Paul.

You know what I remember? The reasonable ones never able to fully disavow Trump. What bottles the mind is that given the chance to fully call him out, they won't.

Mitt Romney could have come correct last year and instead wanted to have it both ways. He wanted Trump out without needing to do the work, but then wanted to retain power in the GOP. Instead he got nothing.

Hell, I posted that Swisher above, last week she interviewed Scott Jennings, a GOP pundit from CNN, a former anti-Trumper now a full Trumper and they guy when pressed with some awful realities just side-stepped, dodged and weaved. You could tell he didn't agree with the course of actions, but never could say "no, he was wrong there."

So yeah ...

Scott Jennings is the worst.  He's the Stephen Miller of pundits.  Nothing but a smug, egotistic jackass with no moral compass, no decency, no redeeming qualities whatsoever.  He's Bob Stoops.
