There's another Pitt LB?

Biles is from Columbus, Ohio.

I stand corrected. The Pitt player from Apopka, FL is a reserve OT. My apologies. Carry on.

Hope cam Coleman is getting the nick brooks treatment right now

Whatever school gets WR Jackson Harris from Hawai’i is getting a great wideout. Had 49 catches, 12 TD’s and 20ypc. Big target with great open field speed. From Berkeley so maybe he transfers to Cal, but I would hope ASU makes him an offer. We need a #1 WR.

Awesome. Texas is going to push the pile into the middle for Cam Wingdeuce. Chris Jackson apparently has a pathological need to have serial pass droppers with fumblitis littering his WR room.

This is all true, I will give Coleman major points for not completely quitting on that shit show mid season. I think that fumble was a result of him trying to do too much because he knew they had no real chance of winning that game otherwise. We will see. I’m on board with seeing how well he will do at UT. It’s not like TW is mister reliable.

His current ask is $1m for next season. Cal has him on a visit already but I would be surprised if they pay that. They need a whole new starting defense, some rbs, a bunch of WRs and a couple of starting tackles. Cal has significant money this year but they have to spread it around some.

Seems like a fair amount to ask for. Guess it depends on what Cal will spend. Again though it’d be great if ASU put in an offer. I really don’t follow the portal transfer stuff or NIL money so whatever new guys we get is cool. This guy would hopefully be one of them.

Where does Nick Brooks fit into all this OL reshuffling? Is he just going to sit for another year? Seems like he would be in the mix for one of the OG spots.

In the mix for sure but he will have to compete with 2-3 transfers.

When you can lay out the Micah Hudson success story to an elite WR, it has to be compelling.

Counterpoint, many WR’s are rock stupid and can’t understand reality. See: Hudson, Micah. And Parker Livingstone and Deandre Moore for good measure.

Then don’t say you’re all in if you’re going to be frugal

Just because you have it doesn’t mean you need to spend it. I don’t want us to be the program that resets the market and accelerate the ruin of this sport. There’s a reason why a lot of owners are still salty at haslem for paying Watson. It fucked the rest of them over.

And remember unlike nfl owners, our bmds don’t ow the team and don’t get a dime from the team.

I know plenty of rich people here who are worth quite a bit take uber x over black and go the long way to avoid the tolls

Accelerates the ruin of this sport? Listen I agree that I don’t want to overspend but let’s pump the brakes on waxing nostalgic about the sport that had a rotation of Alabama, Georgia, Clemson and Ohio state winning the national title every year with an OCCASIONAL blip by LSU or a sign stealing Michigan. While Texas sat on its balls. I’ll take this iteration which doesn’t include basic indentured servitude, thanks.

The portal and all the player movement that comes with it have created an entirely new sport. I think it is fun to follow. I get that some people don't like change, but when it comes down to it you're still getting 18-23 year olds playing hard with bands blasting brass in the background. Its not all bad

What about the Texas State kid makes you think he would be a nice addition? Genuinely asking. Looked him up and he wasn't even first or second team All-Conference in the Sun Belt. I don't follow Texas State at all so just curious. Flood deserves zero benefit of the doubt in who he targets.

Do you even Portal? It is fact that anyone in the portal is better than a current Texas starter. PEople are 100% sure about this, despite never seeing most of these portal kids play

We started Connor Stroh for 5 games. Any of these guys' playing videos would have to be a snuff film for them not to be better than that.

Of course that just brings up the point that our OL coach who thought Stroh should start will be the same guy.

It’s also to our advantage to reset the market. If we have more resources than most of the country, it’s better for us to make the cost of entry as high as possible.

If we don’t get the Michigan Guard that I just found out about 7 mins ago I’m going to kill myself. For real this time.

Try not to give the rest of us conflicting incentives.

I believe he was the center. Kind of surprised Michigan is having this exodus of good, young offensive lineman but not complaining if we get two.

Maybe they're just trying to dodge the fighting milkmen of A&M, that powerhouse whose fans now want to join the B1G.

I’m ok with being the biggest dick on the block. But spend wisely. There’s a reason why Wisner is gone right?

This is the year to fuck not resetting the market. Use every ounce of dry powder we have for 2026. We can go back to running a budget in 2027.

Helo needs to up his game, those handjobs don’t seem to be as enticing or effective this time around!

It's been a day, our initial targets literally landed in Austin last night. Give him some time to work today in between recruit photoshoots and strip club visits.

Hopefully the swing OT and then takes over after Goosby goes in the top 10. I want no part of the Nik Brooks IOL experience part two electric bugaloo.

Sprague

Texas is currently hosting a top offensive transfer target, On3 has learned. Michigan offensive lineman Austin Sprague is expected on campus in Austin on Saturday, sources tell On3.

Missouri was viewed as the other contender for Sprague, who entered the transfer portal on Friday night with a do-not-contact tag. Sprague was Michigan’s starting right tackle in 2025 as part of an impressive redshirt freshman year. He was an honorable mention All-Big Ten selection by coaches and media and shared the Big Ten Offensive Player of the Week award following the Wolverines’ win over Nebraska.

As a true freshman in 2024, Sprague appeared in four games on the Michigan offensive line. He also made his first career start in the ReliaQuest Bowl against Alabama. He will have three years of eligibility remaining.

Andrew Sprague played high school football at Kansas City (Mo.) Rockhurst, where he was a four-star prospect. He was the No. 107 overall player and No. 7-ranked offensive tackle prospect from the 2024 cycle, according to the Rivals Industry Ranking.

You obviously missed, or fell asleep during the 30 minute Whittingham interview during the Citrus Bowl

So is he sliding into guard or is this a swing tackle/ back up plan for Goosby? If he sticks at tackle I really hope the number of OL is 4 but 3 at a minimum.
