Does Schloss have the balls to push Flores and Gasparino to the portal?

Didn’t flores throw away 2 routine grounders to choke away a game against aggy in their regional last year? He needs a change of scenery

0-3 vs UTSA in Austin for the season. Yikes! Maybe someday Schloss can build a program to compete with the likes of perennial ass kicking in-state flagship programs such as the Roadrunners and Bobcats. It'll be a lengthy process so exercise patience.

you’re goddamn right. Whoever you played the next series is absolutely blameless - and more importantly, their fans and alumni are not to be blamed…

We'll probably score about 14 in game 1 tomorrow, then shit the bed in game 2, because of course that would happen.

Called it. I should've bet on college baseball because I know this team too well.

What happened with yall? I had yall winning that regional. Is Eastern Carolina your kryptonite?

Yeah they raked, we didnt. Probably shouldve benched Rino and gone with Farmer. Shouldve started Volantis today to build a lead. May have changed things, but this team wasnt gonna win it all.

the clock on Schloss starts now(I'm not saying he is on a hot seat, that's just the way it works at Texas).  I don't have any doubts it will be fine.

if we are going to have shitty fielding anyway we might as well have guys that can rake. he's gonna need to go get 3 solid arms. Ruger and Harrison shoudl be battling for Sunday starter/Tuesday guy status.  we can't go into next year with our OF being Jonah, Arod, Farmer.

Their coach just got a massive raise, or a fantastic new job.

Kudos, Road Runners.
Gonna be rooting for you all this week.

we tried hard to overcome this highly technical issue of not being very good, but to no avail

lol Florida was fucking terrible this year.

In this day and age, there’s no excuse for Schloss. You don’t need years to build up a program, you can instantly create a powerhouse through the portal. We better at worst make it to the supers next year.

aggy series was their mission accomplished moment.

Upside is what leadership stays on this team is they have plenty of motivation to dog stomp next season. .    Arky and assuming we get them at home needs to be on the top of the list.

Much more than Spencer imo this is what killed us.

if we have spencer we win this regional in 3 even with the ridiculousness at the plate. good chance to take UCLA or Irvine 2 of 3.  our pitching beyond spencer and volantis was very meh.

Grubbs got away with hangers way more than he should have, Ruger regressed dramatically,  harrison is OK for a lefty.  Burns is Burns, 98 gas straight as string.  the HBPs are a tell.  zero fucking command of the zone at all.

I'm sure he knows what is wrong.  pretty confident we will see a house cleaning.

Stay classy UTSA.

Dude, they’re mongoloid idiots that can’t get into UT.  What do you expect from Roadrunner fans?

They need to spend some serious cash now on their facilities.  One of mine went to UTSA and graduated from there five years ago and their baseball stadium at least from the the pics I saw on their website looks very much like the high school stadium i recall seeing in person. In fact I’ve been to better looking Class 3A facilities recently during the most recent high school playoffs.

I’d speculate 75+% of the users on this board wouldn’t get into Texas today.

Sir, I'll have you know I took an IQ test and I scored a 103. That's 3 points over the maximum for fuck's sake. I'd only settle for admission into one of the prestigious Ivy league schools.

My kids played there several times for some 16U/17U tournaments in the past. Yeah, our high school baseball facility is bigger and nicer.

Speaking of which our high school will be playing in the state finals at Dell Diamond next weekend.

Nope. We lost to UTSA with Harrison starting and Grubbs relieving. Unacceptable loss. You literally cannot ask for a better setup.

The fact that Harrison was basically our “Ace” down the stretch is kinda what I’m talking about.  That’s not the standard around here.

It's been 18 years, but I remember the UTSA baseball stadium was pretty much a space of grass between the track field and Chapparal Village dorms. Would be lucky to fit 100 people. Baseball players had such little man syndrome about people wearing other school's tshirts on campus and in the cafeteria.

Gotta be a weird day for Ruger. Win the opener and then watch your old team beat you for the third time and end your season

For real.  The team he left for greener pastures is in the Super.  Phew.

I think not considering Aggie has never won the SEC.

Or we lost our Friday starter and struggled with injuries all year.

But those are excuses so it might also be your thing.
