Let's figure out the cheapest option to watch the most games possible 2025

ESPN just launched a direct to consumer subscription its 29.99 and includes all the ESPN channels.

OTA in any major city is available for CBS, NBC and FOX.

Between all of that there is TNT, CBS Sports and Fox Sports 1 that are missing

Is there a better/cheaper way to get that much coverage? Are there any FS1 games that matter? TNT is playoffs only AFAIK.

Handful of Big 12 regular season games on TNT/Max. 2 non-conference and 1 conference game (Tech at ASU, which is a pretty high profile for 2 teams who should contend for the Big 12)

Is there a way to stream those without a TV sub? HBOGo Subscription cover it?

Max subscription should be sufficient. Or whatever it is called now

So another 16.99

So 46.99 per month for 5 months and a good OTA antenna?

I'm still unsure what the answer is for NFL games on YouTube TV this year.  ESPN acquired NFL RedZone, then packaged it with their new streaming bundle and hasn't completed carrier negotiations to make it available through the provider.  It sounds like for now, these features are billed seperately and must be accessed through the ESPN app.

A bundled Disney+, Hulu and ESPN offering will be made available for $29.99 over the first 12 months, ESPN said. After that period, the bundled set of three services will cost $35.99 per month with ads or $49.99 per month without ads, ESPN said.

A bundled ESPN and Fox offering, set for release on Oct. 2, will run $39.99 per month. A separate bundle of ESPN and NFL+, which includes NFL RedZone, will be made available on Sept. 3 for $39.99 per month.

A lower-priced version of the streaming service featuring a narrower set of content will cost $11.99 per month or $119.99 per year.

Current cable subscribers can gain full access to the new streaming service after being authorized by their cable provider, company executives said on Tuesday.

However, the company added, full authorization remains unavailable through select cable providers as ESPN resolves outstanding negotiations, meaning some cable subscribers will be unable to access content broadcast exclusively on the streaming service. Such content will be initially unavailable to customers of Comcast Xfinity, YouTube TV, Dish Network, Sling TV and Cox, the company said.

I think I'm gonna go with YT TV. I can watch anything streaming on sportssurge but I like the flexibility of flipping channels on a whim

YouTube TV has a first time subscription for 49.99 for the first 3 months and 82.99 after.

It's certainly not the cheapest way, but for non-longhorn football Saturday, using their multi-view allows me to see 4 games at the same time. I was happy to have it yesterday with Stanford v Hawaii, Fresno v Kansas and Sam Houston v West Kentucky. One was a boring, but the other two allowed me too see great execution in a close game and shitty execution at the same time. (great execution wasn't happening on the Island)

Probably a TV antenna and a bootleg sports feed website.

The old-timey TV antenna is one of the most underrated telecommunication devices on the planet these days.
