This will destroy our recruiting.

I was thinking that if I'm Dia Bell, any thoughts of not wanting to go to Texas and wait are out.  He might be able to take the job immediately.

I would love to know what halftimes are like. Because the 3rd qtr is always dog shit. Does  he ever yell or get in someone’s face. Does he tell them all they play like dog shit. Or does he go sit in his office and let everyone go on tik tok

They drink water and eat orange slices. Seriously, there’s actually little time to make major adjustments. It’s incremental

Agreed, but it ain’t much difference than what was going on with Herman, and Surly ate that shit up.

i got negged and called all sorts of shit for saying it needed to stop…

Herman was actively drinking and everyone knew it. The Sark shit is just message board nonsense.

I'm starting to believe the skeptics on how weak his HS competition was. He looks so bad delivering the football and can't read the field to save his life. Making it worse is watching Connor Stroh whiff on blocks and hit no one and Wingo cant block or run a crisp route. ou is gonna mudhole us just because our defense will be exhausted.

He had only played that same high school competition when he came in last year and looked much better.

My concern is that it's mental and he doesn't have the temperament to be a big time starting QB. He looked like a deer in the headlights against Georgia when he came in and now this year as the starter with all the expectations he has looked bad all three games. The only time he looked loose and confident was coming in as a replacement against weak competition last year.

Lots of guys can work through that but some can't.

New thought!!!!!

You're not gonna fix his passing abilities in the next 2 weeks. Start putting in packages to use Tyhis legs. Not the current RPOs. He at least can run. And if he gets hit and gets hurt, oh well. Not like he's a difference maker out there anyway. But at least he can run. And this team is not making a serious run this year anyway.

Where are the bubble screens? Where are all the passes he would dial up for Ewers?

Sark probably thinks Arch’d miss those targets, too, and we’d be looking at several losses on backward passes and a few fumbles. I know i’d stay away from those throws. He needs to sit. May need to transfer to SMU.

Just run the ball and give Arch some easy throws to get the completion percentage up so this isn't a complete disaster for him.  Win this game 35-3 or 35-10 and forget it ever happened.

What are the easy throws for Arch?

Our WR core is extremely average with Moore out, Wingo being cursed, and Endres being limited. We have the great white hope on the outside and thats it. It at the point were all the FR Wrs need to start getting serious snaps.

Offense looks a lot like the 2010 one. I can't believe I just typed that.

1991 is always the gold standard for me. Best defense with the worst offense ever at Texas. They had a losing record. That defense will never get the credit they deserved.

This is honestly reminding me of it in the last two games. I cannot fully comprehend our level of incompetence in this half. I'm scared. Fandom type scared, more than existential style scared, but scared nonetheless. What are we about to see? I feel like an alien is about to burst out of someone's stomach in the 2nd half, or somebody in a hockey mask is going to stalk the sidelines.

WTF Sark, we agree Arch looks like shit but mentioning the boos to a reporter after we all heard them is a pretty Karen thing to do when things aren’t going your way.

I disagree. In my opinion, he didn’t say it in a way that was complaining about the boos. He was joking about them and saying Arch deserved them.

Exactly.

The thing is fans want a dynasty. Like Bama. That’s just not happening. We need to accept and embrace 2 loss seasons and always a shot to make the playoffs and one year we get lucky and win. We ain’t gonna have this 5 wins in Ten years type of shit, never happening.

I will gladly settle for 1 chip every decade like ohio state gets. It has been 2 decades since we won one, so we are over due

Can’t run screens if you don’t have willing/good blockers on the edge

He looks like a completely different guy. Starting with the first pass against Ohio St.

Agree, that is the concern and that is the shock because one thing you wouldn't have expected somebody with the Manning pedigree to have would be general mental/confidence/processing issues.

Exactly. The people bitching about sark not giving him easy throws aren’t watching arch throw. Nothing is easy.

It does not matter. He is missing wide open throws.

Arch Airballs

They hyped him up from day one,
Said, “This kid’s the chosen son.”
But every pass he tried to chuck
Looked more like a wounded duck.

The fans all groaned, the band just sighed,
The football gods laughed from the sky.
He tripped on grass, he fumbled twice,
And threw a pick that looked real nice.

The Manning name, a golden crown,
But Arch just let the kingdom down.
Instead of glory, cheers, and luck,
All we got was… Arch sucks.

Or a QB you trust to hit then consistently.

Arch looks like a guy who has the yips. Because this isnt the same kid we saw last year in those 3 games he played. He looks like he's regressed half a decade in a single year. It has to be 100 percent mental.

On the series where Arch overthrew Livingstone in the endzone on 4th, the line ran 3 or 4 straight times with power/gap and a little misdirection counter I believe. We moved the ball and got a couple of first downs. The next run is an outside zone to the wide field and 3 UTEP players cross the face of our OL and get a tackle for loss. These guys on the interior CANNOT get their feet out quick enough to reach block. This isnt Majors and Connor anymore. Stop fucking calling outside zone.

You mean give Arch MORE easy throws. He can’t make a simple throw.

Well, this is UTSA/Mississippi State level talent. So was San Jose State last week.

To your point, he looks like Rick Ankiel to me.

we have all been speculating about what is up with sark lately. I deleted my original comment.
then people bring up a bad week of practice and shit that has spilled over into the game.

again. I won’t post that shit again. And I pray it’s not true. Carry on.

The flip side of that is how do you trust a guy who has had two of the #1 rated QBs and neither has met expectations.

Then he's got to sit.

I mean, at this point, either he actually is hurt (and I think there's something to that), or he isn't and he needs to sit anyway.  More incompletions and picks will fuck up his confidence as much or more than sitting down.
