Well just 2 years ago it was 10-10 at the end of 3 with Wyoming before we put up 21 in the 4th.

I get what you mean, but that was the Saturday after beating Bama. Completely different vibe.

I think you’re conflating RB and DB. I was talking about James Simon RB.

Right, I was just comparing coaches that do things one way and the other another way. Scott clearly trusts Simon, and for good reason, Terry, OTOH, woukd have say Littleton and gave him a RS instead of seeing him as a worthy starter. Two different coachijg philosophy and and one is right. The wrong one isn't named Akina/Orphey.

Manning will come around. Needs more reps. Good athlete. Fast. Will need to up his game substantially to get past the Georgias of the world

My brother, I think you may have imbibed too much….

Lacey isn’t ahead of Baxter on the RB depth chart

LOL you and I got two positions mixed up. I wss saying Lacey is ahead of Owens on the depth chart. I have no idea where the RB stuff came from, my dude. Wherever it came from, I'll take the blame for the mistake.

Normally, I’d agree with you. However, Sark essentially turning the offense into a 1960s rushing attack really indicates what he thinks Arch can actually achieve.

Absolutely infuriating.  Why can't he just admit that his coaching and preparation of his team was unacceptable, and vow to do something about it.

Millionaire ego, man. Once you get to that level, you're the smartest man in the room..

Even though we all know it's not true, he will not allow his ego to let go. Square peg, round hole. He's basically a moron who can't see the forest for the trees.

I am officially hitting the panic button. Why have Manning's fundamentals completely broken down? He missed a check down to Simon late in the game by firing it 3 yards over his head as hard as he could, and he was five yards away. I am completely baffled as to wtf is going on. Is it the yips? He was way more accurate last season. Why is he throwing lasers every play? This is shit that may not get fixed this season. I found myself wondering if Arch should sit down at the half. I have seen bad football, but that is the worst half of football by a Texas QB I have ever seen.

I’ve tried to think of words to describe Sark and this sums it up perfectly. Well done.

Sark mentioned that Saban advised him to be the OC if he wants to. Saban’s advice is shit.

11/25 for 114 yards against UTEP, at home … pretty sure that is all we need to see to know he’s got the yips or is just ass, my dude

He is currently the worst QB in the SEC by far.

Reed has more passing yards in a half against Notre Dame than Arch had against UTEP in a game.

Should have gone after Craver and Concepcion. I know neither are his prototypical WR but having standing still leapers would do wonders for a QB right about now.

Better than Wingo.  That dude thinks he has made it.

Does anyone know what’s up with Collin Simmons? I know he played some today, but not much and he recorded zero stats

I was wondering the same thing. Probably in his own head after committing those penalties last week, but not even registering a tackle is concerning

what are we even doing to ourselves

People forget VY 6 games before beating Michigan looked abysmal playing Missouri. Abysmal. Very similar to Arch today. Except Arch had more running TDs and fewer INTs. I don’t know what happened at fucking practice this week but it would be nice if those in the KNOW would just tell us like the offense and the defense look like two separate teams. The defense looks like champion caliber and the offense is way out of synch. Should we have had a spring game? What is going on? With the slopppiness and penalties? I expect more from Sark bc these are the things under his control as a HC.

Final question of the night is why is Stroh playing?  Felt like Neto didn't even get any snaps today.   Starting to think Flood can't evaluate lineman anymore or his recruiting doesn't match the style of offense Sark wants to play.

I've mentioned this on multiple threads. It is nearly impossible to be worse than Stroh for a scholarship FBS OL. Why the hell is he playing? Flood's OL is so bad that he may be the scapegoat that gets fired for Sarkisian's crappy offense but he will have earned that firing if it happens.

It’s the meathead coach “bled for the program” ridiculousness.  He’s “worked hard” and “done everything we’ve asked” so he “deserves to play”.  It can’t be based on talent.

Beyond next week we could lose every game left on the schedule with that QB and OL play

Also, any update on Baxter?

Read on X it was a hamstring.

I was just able to watch the game tape and I think I’ve diagnosed the offense’s problem.

Arch has fibromyalgia and the OLine has genital warts…Jesus H.

And WR’s are herpes

I don’t understand how Manning looks so bad. He even looks slow on his runs. The back up played with more speed.

I think Matthew Caldwell is a much better option right now. He looked much more crisp, even in his previous garbage time, throwing a nice pass on a crossing route that I'm certain Arch wouldn't make at this time. He also has way more experience and I think could handle a more complex offensive scheme from Sark. But if they put him in for extended time, I think it will expose Arch even further and create a massive controversy.

I never want to see anyone hurt, but maybe the strategy is Arch "pulled" something and Caldwell gets some time, so he can save face?

And yes, I'm well aware I don't know shit about fuck. lol
