Instead of watching this crapfest, I spent the afternoon cleaning out my dead mother’s closet.
It involved sifting through some horribad outfits from the 90s, and filling trash bags full of old lady underwear and socks.
Which, from what I’ve seen, was more enjoyable than watching this team.
I got to watch Niblett and the OT, so…yay. But Jesus. We just aren’t good.

If he can get an extra second and a half before some 300 pounder bears down on him it’s amazing how much better he plays.

Not sure if you're joking, but I'm not.

This is what I predict will happen.  Caldwell will surprise people with how serviceable he is; the offense will run well enough that the defense can control the game.  Then the bye week will put Arch back in the starting roll and UGA will whip our asses for the 3rd time in a row.

That’s all I expect.  Serviceable.  If he’s that it may be enough to control the game enough.

anymore than that is even beyond my expectation.

Passes were coming out much faster also. I don't know if it was better play calls, bad defense or just Arch not waiting but regardless it was working.

Sark is running too many concepts. When we get in to hurry up and run fewer route trees it's amazing how much better we look. Texas has more talented players. Sark doesn't always have to out scheme them.  Get out of the way and let more talented players make plays.

The best defense against Sark is,......Sark.

Trying to be all the guru ALL the time hurts the O line and Arch. When they had to go hurry up (down 17) ,.....things changed. Kooky.

Yep the book is out.  Blitz and you got the offense stalled. They stopped and I’m not sure if “prevent” is the right word but played a softer defense.

Whelp guess we’ll have our answer if he’s any good or not.

yep.  Arch won't be playing next week.  Sark should have some packages for Lacey also.

3 weeks to get back for Georgia.

Caldwell has come in completely cold twice and completed 2 passes.  have to get the running game going.

Wingo with 185 and 6 drops. Could have been a. Record breaking game For him

On that last one Arch threw some heat.  yeah, you have to catch that one, but I think Arch could’ve taken a little off.

It's probably for the best today that you avoided the game thread where my reply of choice was go fuck your mothers big nose.

Sorry bro

It’s what he does.  He doesn’t have touch or it’s a “duck” ball.

but he played his ass off in the 4th and took some hits.

We aren't seeing the same thing.  He looks 100% comfortable out there, processes quickly, makes good decisions, and throws a very catchable ball.  He's the kind of guy who could be an UFA, do well in camp, and make an NFL roster as a backup.

So someone explain what happened with the defense to all of a sudden just demolish them in the 4th?

Rest. Once the offense started controlling the ball the defense was able to catch a break.

Our team is like old lady underwear. Sure it looks like ass but the elastic still works when faced with shitty situations.

How is Niblett not getting 5 touches a game at running back? We have zero big play ability at running back. Give him some touches.

Or on screens or something

Thank God we have a serviceable backup QB with experience. Matthew Caldwell is the hero of the game.

That was a shit throw that worked out.  Let's not get carried away

Their defense did what a lot of defenses do and started trying to prevent the big play. That was all Arch needed to get going. Just like last year whenever we go 4 wide a spread the ball out our QBs play so much better. Sark doesn't like it though, so we will be back to 12 personnel and bunch sets next week.

We’ve only seen 2 pass plays. I believe at worst he’ll be serviceable. A bus driver which I wish arch was more of this year.

he does seem calm and ready. Even trying to adjust the play when Mosley ran wrong.
