Pretty sure if you get a concussion it's an automatic 7 days regardless if you are sharp as a tack the next day.

Irregardless

The Beach Boys playing LCL after the game.

They're down to 2 of the long term members: 84 year old Mike Love and 83 year old Bruce Johnston.  They have a strong supporting band, full of capable singers.  Mike Love sometimes sounds old and tired; but he is 84 after all.  Sometimes he sounds OK.  On occasion, John Stamos will play with them.  It would be an interesting show in 2005, maybe.

Is Caldwell mobile at all? He'll still have to deal with the shitty OL and may have to take off more than a few times like Arch.

Yes.  He's quick.

You would be wrong. He is eligible to return as soon as he passes the test.

Incorrect

There is a specific 7 day protocol that has to be followed.

He has to basically have no symptoms on Sunday before the protocol can even begin.

If he had no symptoms yesterday then he has a chance to play.

If that is not the case then he is out.

I don't want to know what a loss to Vandy, especially at home, feels like. Please don't let that awful reality come to fruition.

We already know what it feels like. A few times.

Vandy is on a mission per Pavia to play in January. I don’t envy PK’s job this week to prepare for a QB like him. If Sark trots 12 personnel to start the offense I will be hanging out at the lake this weekend. Picking off low hanging…fruit.

Niiice!

Interesting. Maybe that's just high school then? Also wasnt Tua out like a month with a concussion not long ago?

Concussions can be on a spectrum of severity. I've seen high school players be back at full contact practice a week later and I've seen guys miss the rest of the season. Repeated concussions tend to exhibit more severe and longer lasting symptoms.

Anyone thinking we’re going to blow out this Vandy team is crazy. This will be a close game- probably decided by 1-2 crucial plays.

I think we win a close rock fight- 13-10

Vandy's success isnt based on clever scheming and playcalling, where its a battle of coaches. It's ball control and improv play, which is a contest of athleticism.

In that respect I think this Texas team humbles them. McDonald, Littleton, Muhammad, Simmons, Hill, etc, are going to get their licks in. So long as we avoid dumb penalties.

I’m not sure where you got the info, but this is not right. The player goes into concussion protocol as soon as he/she is diagnosed. He must pass a test, that is based on a baseline test given in the off season. Once he passes that test, he is technically eligible to play.

Bobby Burton showed the protocol list on his podcast yesterday.

There are seven specific steps that each take a 24 hour period.

My worry about penalties is less about the D giving up free yardage, and more about the O losing momentum/possession, and dragging the D back onto the field.  Home field noise advantage... no excuses for them to rack up penalties this weekend.
