But do they all still agree that they hate anyone who is not a white evangelical Christian, and those "others" must be made to suffer by every single policy?  They do?  Yeah, then that's good enough.  The party is fine, still unified around its only real purpose.

The entire GOP is incapable of operating government at any level. They just know how to bitch and whine whenever their opposition is operating government.

No surprise places like Texas and Florida are in economic free fall while the GOP leaders just keep bitching and whining at each other.

Well they damn sure can't bitch about the people actually in positions of power who could do something about it.

Let’s be fair, they have ample hate for white evangelicals, too, particularly those actually following the lessons of the gospels.

Only bad news for thee…

Let me add, I’m not mad at someone like Tim Dunn that wants to impose his weird, fringe beliefs on his fellows.

I’m mad that the Chamber of Commerce types on the right who disagree with him have zero balls.

"American white evangelicals" and "follow the gospels" are mutually exclusive propositions.  American white evangelicals are all MAGA.   Non-MAGA christians are not "fundagelicals."

Not to worry! Texas should have thousands more voters soon as the common clay seeks a sanctuary to escape the horror of minority, female, and communist elected officials from yesterday and likely future elections to come.

Pretty sure this is all about going full anti-semite and anti-brown and openly endorsing Nick Fuentes.

Half or more of them want to really badly.

good, I'd prefer these people to stop hiding behind decency they don't possess. I'd rather know what I am facing than have to guess. at least they would own up to what they believe. bigotry in secrecy is still quite dangerous

This.  If the curtain hasn't been pulled back enough already, pull it further.

Then the Dems can run on "Your hate doesn't get my potholes filled." "Your hate doesn't make chicken cheaper."  "Your hate won't make the Longhorns SEC Champs."

Maybe getting away from myself on that last one, but you get the idea.

It’s all just noise until these assholes start losing elections.

Holy fuck what is that

He did that last September or October I believe. If anything, it helped his campaign.

I think he's referring to Texas elections and the local electorate pulled another stupid yesterday.

Not in Texas. Never in Texas. And, as I alluded to, it only gets worse. Texas and Florida are the most desirable/affordable havens for us non-Texans' dumbest coworkers and friends to escape the socialism and transgender mutations of blue and purple states.

Oh.  Right.  That.

Yes, but I never had any hope that Texans would improve.  I've lived here too long to believe any different.

It’s a feature not a bug. The sole purpose of the GOP is to make it easier for wealthy people to remain wealthy and acquire more wealth. End of story.

Remember the old PJ O’Rourke quote: “Republicans are the party that tells you government doesn’t work and then get elected and prove it.” It’s done on purpose.
