A little shocked I never saw this before given I'm a huge Jeffrey Wright fan. This movie had incredible star power playing mostly bit parts.

When Willem Defao is talking to Jeffrey Wright about also being an artist, this thought popped into my head.

Last night's 90s Essentials rewatch chosen by the older one. Found it for rent in 4K which looked stunning.

/csb My kid goes to school with Julian’s youngest. The man is certainly an interesting cat.

Jackie Brown is so good

It's a great Samuel L Jackson centric movie. He really gives SLJ a chance to shine. You can also tell how much Quentin loves Robert Forester and Pam Grier. The bar that Jackie goes to is so damn cool.

And that's when I realized ole QT is down with lady feet. Not sure how many closeups of Bridgette Fondas feet there were, but it seemed like a lot.

The Thief Who Came to Dinner (1973).  I had recorded it off of TCM mostly because I saw it was filmed in Houston.  There were some cool shots of downtown, Herman Park, and the dome seemingly sitting in an empty field.

Ryan O'Neal, Jacqueline Bissett, and Warren Oats were all good with a fun Mancini score.  Overall I'd say it was ok but nothing special.  I would have liked it to lean into more interesting heists or something.

Everything Everywhere All At Once for the second time on a flight. Just as epic and fun and emotional and crazy as the first time. What a great flick.

Who knew you could get emotional watching rocks?
