5 hours ago5 hr The onside running no time off is 100% correct, that was terrible by Ole Miss coaches.

If they slap the ball and UGA recovers it's a muffled kickoff recovery, which A) cannot be advanced and B) forced at least one second to run off the clock, ending the game.

This game was just atrocious and you can bet that there will be more like it in the remaining 3 games. At what point do they actually have to do something? Because things are only going to deteriorate even more from here

5 hours ago5 hr I turned the channel with 3ish minutes left and Miss up by 3. I figured one way or anther that fat fuck Kirby would find a way to steal the game. I turned it back on as the Gatorade soaked coach was walking out to shake hands. Then, the refs start hustling everyone off the field so I thought "Welp, the Venmo hit so Kirby is gonna take this one." Turned it back on and they are presenting the trophy to Ole Miss. I'll watch the attempted fuckery on YouTube later when someone posts the full game.

5 hours ago5 hr the reason that end of game was such a clusterfuck is that teams and coaches really don't know the rules. It would also help if the refs started blowing whistles immediately and motion the teams back.
5 hours ago5 hr Question…does the 10 yard rule that applies on normal kickoffs apply to free kicks after a safety?
5 hours ago5 hr 1 minute ago, Jkwellborn said:So why was that a safety? It hit the pylon, wouldn’t that be a touchback? No because JAWJA was the team that last possessed the ball. If the landsharks had possessed the ball last, and it hit that pylon, THEN it would be a touchback and the ball would go back to JAWJA.
5 hours ago5 hr The game wasn’t officiated well overall but this feels like explaining football to my wife.
