1. No, google is your friend

2. Any doc who tells you they know the answer to that with the info we currently have is a quack

He will never get another contract. Within 5 minutes of the injury, and without an MRI, all 30 teams knew he was done.

Dang.  KD must have been feeling good to try and cross up a dude.  I just assumed he was gonna stick to just being a spot up shooter.

thats what he needed to do.  his presence opens up the floor bigly.  that said, it's hard for a player like Durant to just spot up all game.

Warriors not valuing the ball and horrible on defense tonight... what a crap fest from a championship team.  Really surprised that Kerr is getting so outcoached by Nick Nurse.

Also... No GS rim protector and lack of size and rebounding is making this a much easier series for Toronto.

is there an asterisk on Detroit's title in '89?

A bit of one, maybe. But they won game 1 with Magic playing and then swept them out of the series. Plus Kareem was old as dirt in that series.

Difference being I dont think Toronto wins if Durant plays this series. Detroit could have easily beat LA with Magic and Scott on the court.

Just gonna make every 3 i guess. Good luck with that.

Wounded Tiger offense.... GS has to 🙏  Raptors play the last 18 minutes as poorly as first 6 minutes of 3rd quarter...

GS only has two scoring threats on the court.... Crazy gameplan

Pistons took LA to 7 the year before. They had HCA and had just gone through MJ and Pippen to reach the Finals.

So yes, both teams at full strength they would have been much more likely to win than Toronto would have been this season.

Regardless, some Finals are more easily won than others. It happens. Detroit in 89 is an example. GS in 15 is an example. Doesn't diminish the championship just changes the context of the Finals.

LA was undefeated going into the finals if I remember correctly, there's no easily to it and there's no asterisks, championships are championships no one cares about injuries.

Detroit swept rounds one and 2 and then beat the greatest player of all time in 6 games in the ECF.

You realize the West was pretty shit in 89, right? Who was even a contender besides LA that season.

Steph had Patrick McCaw on him to end the quarter, and habitually calls on Quinn Cook--who's being guarded by Kawhi--for a screen. Easy switch, and the possession ends with a Draymond spray and pray deep 2. Smart. Shit like that loses you games when you're undermanned.
