If your read on a crisis in which military leaders risked their careers to protect the constitutional republic from the whims of a lone megalomaniac and prevent a war that could end the US and even civilization as we know it is that the military leaders were the ones committing treason, you might be a dumbfuck and an asshole.19 points

When I was a kid my uncle and grandpa would take me and my cousin to Wrigley Field. They were both world class beer drinkers and would get 2 each from the beer vendor every time he came by. He would be by at least once an inning, sometimes twice. The vendor would pour the beer into souvenir plastic cups and my cousin and I would walk out of there with a stack of cups so high we'd carry them like a soldier carrying a rifle. I'd swear on a stack of bibles my uncle and grandpa would put that dude to shame. We'd pile into my uncles wood paneled giant ass buick station wagon, and my cousin and I would sit in the way back in the seat that faced backwards, oblivious to the drunk driving that was occurring. Of course that was back when drunk driving was cool.10 points

You obviously didn't watch the game or are just a mouth breather. How about you just not watch any games and don't come to the board till OU. Then you can decide if you want to continue watching. For now just shut the fuck up with your whining. You don't write sark's checks and you don't have any say in his job status. Root for the team or don't, but stop being such a bitch.10 points

Nittany Lion students and fans are protesting Franklin's interest in the USC job by vowing silence during the football season? Isn't that what got them in big trouble last time?9 points

Okay, time for a story that may be funny only to me, but was hilarious in person. In a previous job, my VP (bosses boss) was a pretty hot GILF who split time between a house in Houston and a house in Florida. We had a QBR in Dallas and we're all making small talk in the conference room over breakfast and someone askes her if she flew in and she says "no, I went to Houston first and then drove up". So over more small talk she mentions she has the same Lexus in Florida and Texas, and she drove up in her "Texas Lexus". One of our degenerate drunks walks into the middle of the conversation and says "Wait, what?....oh, I thought you said Alexis Texas" and realized he'd fucked up before he even finished saying it. Boss: "Who's Alexis Texas" "Bob": Looking around the room nervously..."Uhhh...Pescado, you know who that is, right?" Pescado: "Never heard of her...is she a singer or something?" Boss...Who has figured out something embarrassing is going on with "Bob" and has decided to play along. "Is her stuff on iTunes?" Starts to open her phone Bob is dying. He's beet red and looking around the room for help, but none is coming. The rest of my team has been filtering out of the room so they don't laugh and blow it. Pescado: ""let's look her up" Opens browser because his computer is connected to the projector because he's presenting first. Starts typing into google A-L-E-X Bob "SHE'S A PORN STAR!!" Everyone still in the room totally loses it laughing. Boss Lady: "Oh Bob...tsk, tsk. Be careful you don't go blind. Room goes completely nuts laughing and Bob almost cries. I guess the punch line is that Bob got fired a few months later for something unrelated, ended up at Nutanix, and made enough money in their IPO to retire early. Fucking Bob.7 points

The belief that true Christianity is a fundamentalist belief system, and that Catholicism is evil heresy opposed to that and is an enemy among us, is not new. At all. Wanna know the literal standard-bearers of that belief? This isn't hard, people. Everything the MAGA crowd stands for already exists as an established set of beliefs. And that set of beliefs wears white pointy hats.5 points

Thanks to using the same email for the last 15 or so years, I get plenty of GOP spam. This was a nice little survey WinRed sent out. These are mostly yes/no questions, with an "unsure" about a few like the voting in the midterm) Are you still a member of the Republican Party? Did you vote for President Trump in the 2020 election? Are you planning to vote in the 2022 midterms election? Will you support Republican candidates in the 2022 midterm election? Do you consider yourself a true American patriot? Are you committed to defending President Trump’s America first agenda? Are you against big government control? Do you support personal liberties? Will you do whatever it takes to secure a Republican majority in 2022? "Keep this box checked to make a monthly recurring donation" "Keep this box checked to pledge an additional donation on 9/25. TRUMP RALLY ALERT!" President Trump announced a MASSIVE Rally on September 25th. Have you pledge your Rally Day Gift yet? Time is RUNNING OUT! We need you to help make this the biggest GOP fundraising day EVER. HURRY!" At the bottom, it mentions this: Contributions or gifts to the Republican National Committee are not deductible as charitable contributions for federal income tax purposes. Because it's WinRed, a for-profit platform. And if you let it set on the page while you look at the batshittery, you get a popup saying "WAIT! WE CAN'T LET AMERICA TURN INTO A BIG GOVERNMENT SOCIALIST NATION!" If you uncheck the donation boxes, you get a big yellow popup: "The Radical Left is so happy that you unchecked that box. Don’t give them what they want!"5 points
