  1. My God. This staff hasn't been on the job a year and you're asseverating that they can't recruit. Every other school had the jump on 2022 recruits before this staff was even hired at Texas. Where is the Oline talent in the class going to come from? Well, there's this thing called the transfer portal, and Texas has an auspicious selling proposal. Hey, you, over-performing first-and-second-team all-conference OL 'croots from G5 and lower P5 teams; y'all want to come to a place where you can (mostly likely) get a better education, start immediately, have access to way more NIL opportunities, and where there are hot chicks everywhere (fuck you, Carl)? I thought so - sign here. Now, stop being a mewling coelenterate and recognize that Texas is 4-2 under a first-year head coach who has already shown more ability to navigate on-and-off-field issues than any coach we've had since DKR. Our roster issues are a result of one Thomas Sociopath Herman III, not Sark. Get a grip.

  2. The problem with the database is primarily it cannot fractionate out which vaccine causes which side effects. There are tons of vaccines that did not make it past Phase I, II, etc. As well, reading through the disclaimers you must agree to before even searching suggest this data dump in not verified and likely is coming directly from patients. Past that the vast majority of the reported side effects are benign. Cough, Nausea, Vertigo, etc. I've been a part of a massive role out of both Moderna and Pfizer. The vast majority of patient's deal with some arm pain and maybe 24-48 hours of fever/malaise. Past that we haven't needed to use Benadryl once for any concerns of an allergic reaction. Anyone at this point suggesting the mRNA vaccines are either ineffective or has unknown side effects is trying to find an excuse to hold onto to not get them. I wish the vast majority of those looking for other avenues (Hydroxychloroquine, Ivermectin, Beet Powder, etc) would simply just say they don't wish to be vaccinated for whatever reason and stop trying to explain their reasoning. I'm tired of people coming to me after all of my training and experience and letting me know how they are more informed and better educated on how to approach the Pandemic. You are not and you are simply not willing to be vaccinated. I hope it doesn't cost you your health/life.

  3. Extracted Demon Gourd Sr. from his tomb in the back corner of the yard the other day, and had enough of Jr.'s vine strangling the grass, so I harvested him. I don't know how much bigger he was going to get anyway - he'd been stalled at roughly this same size for a while. A picture of Sr. immediately after retrieval, and then one next to the boy. And I've moved Sr. to the front of the house. It's currently the only outdoor Halloween decoration, which I think makes it all that much more unsettling. Mrs. Doom has done a complete 180 on the whole thing and is fully on board the bandwagon - she's suggested shellacking it for ongoing preservation, and is nervous about displaying it where marauding teens may steal and/or destroy it. But I've explained that it's decay is its power source, and it would be a crime to hide it from the neighborhood any longer. And frankly, I'd be delighted if some kids stole it for their own use and amusement as long as they didn't just smash it. I've obtained this year's host bodies and will be transforming them and summoning their true nature this weekend.

  9. If we are ever going to drop money bags and whatever we have available for it needs to start this weekend with OL. Drop a fat stack for Green and Agbo. Do the same for Dewberry, Campbell, and Neto. Whatever it takes to get at least 3 of those guys. If the rumors of Brocks and Damien George portaling end up being true let's hope they get here in January to go through spring practice. On top of that get a grad transfer or 2 as well. All of the above may result in a high number for the OL room, but dead weight is hanging around that needs to be gone. Its unreal guys like Johnson and Hookfin can't crack the 2-deep. Ghirardelli had been passed up. Merrill probably never plays a down here. Fuckin Herb Hand.

  11. You’re right. It is a business decision and the Manning’s are in the business of spreading their empire to new markets. Austin is the largest market with a major college program without a NFL team. Clemson, bama, Georgia, and kkk ags can’t say that. arch spends 3 years here and even before NIL the Manning’s would make gold. Now it’s pure $$$. Move over VY steakhouse, we have a Manning’s Austin. Arch wins a championship? The family will be deities here. The Manning’s will have their fingers in every tech and oil deal a Horn is involved in. Archie SR is about to be on a first name basis with Ross Moody and the like so yes. It really is a business decision and there is only one obvious answer. oh and our head coach is a QB genius who isn’t going anywhere soon, unlike the OC at other programs

  13. Will Campbell has been working up the energy to decommit for two months. Texas is all over him, but so is everyone else. There's some buzz that Texas would be one of the most likely destinations for him should he abandon the LSU grease fire. Maybe there's something to it. Someone alluded to Ketchum getting wind of whatever it is and fucking it up, and that's the likeliest outcome. If Roach already knows something and is calling around blurting out whatever he knows looking for confirmation, word will eventually get back to fatfuck Ketchum. From there, it's minutes before he starts bloviating on whatever it is and eventually tips off the other staff to recommit the player asap. Our only hope is that Pluckers is having some sort aggressive special tonight regarding wings, vats of cheese, and bacon. The PNW discussion makes me want to drop everything and move there. I've lived in Houston or Austin all my life and I fucking hate the heat and humidity.

  16. I keep it to a minimum, and I don't see my parents in person any more. I had to grow up with that batshit crazy bullshit constantly being blasted, I know how much it impacted how I approached people and the world, and I don't want any of that for my kids. I have never left my 2.5 year old alone with her, and I have told her that's intentional and why I don't drop him off for the weekend, but the topic keeps coming up and she doesn't understand why I won't do that. If my mom ever got the chance she would baptize him immediately, teach him about Jesus/God/holy ghost or whatever, and possibly try to get him circumcised if she had the time. I have informed my daycare that my parents are not welcome there, they have absolutely no rights to the kids, and to first call the police then call me if they show up. You can't trust people that are this far down the path of insanity, they literally believe this world is nothing more than a trial to see if you pass Jesus/god's test, nothing matters other than accepting Jesus and not doing anything that automatically sends you to hell (blasphemy, divorce, gay stuff, etc). She can't process anything in reality that conflicts with her beliefs, she can't understand how spouting this nonsense is driving away people, nor does she take any accountability for it. When my wife was pregnant with our second child, she kept sending her stuff about how the covid vaccine would cause miscarriages, birth defects, etc, and this was after I told her we both got vaccinated. While those videos and blogs she sent were bullshit, my wife still wanted to verify to make sure she didn't do anything to harm our child, because she loves them so much. We had to research a few of these things to allay her fears, but it's a fucking shitty thing to do to a pregnant woman. Anyways, I take this stuff pretty seriously now. The amount of people she knows that form her echo chamber is pretty sad. Even more disturbing is knowing she used to be on the Texas State Board of Education, using her brain to determine what school books our kids would use to learn. Thankfully she was only there for 1 term, but still a bit disheartening. None of her crazy conspiracy stuff came up during the campaign of course.

  17. When your defense sucks this bad, you have to simplify and find an identity. There will be ways for teams to beat that, but it’s better than getting beaten by everything. I hope we run Thornton-Ojomo-Sweat-Collins on the DL so we can at least hold up against the run and not be so committed to always having a 6 man box.The pass is more important than the run but our DBs will get beat in pass coverage even when they’re in position. Taking away the big runs is much more within PK’s control. I’d prefer Quarters behind it, but My guess is PK would lean towards playing Cover 3 while mixing in some Cover 1. Either way, it’s time to get a box heavy enough to stop the run and simplify behind it. With an offense this elite, the goal needs to be stopping big plays and making teams have 10+ play drives if they want to score a TD. We won’t be good, but we won’t be god awful either.

  23. The Georgia situation is interesting regarding Manning. 1) The Atlanta market is dense with corporate power. It's also arguably the capital of The South. There is a fucking ton of NIL value for a legit star as a brand ambassador. If you think about markets that can compete in that vein, they're Austin, Los Angeles, Chicago?, Miami? Not sure of anyone else. I'm talking about with potentially relevant colleges and market exposure. No one gives a shit about CFB in Seattle or San Fran. NYC doesn't have a local favorite. I don't know. To me and others with whom I've spoken, it seems like it Austin, Los Angeles, Atlanta (UGa) and everyone else. 2) There aren't whispers about Georgia's inability to do much for QBs in the recruiting world. There are shouts. I don't even know how that gets combatted any time soon. 3) Georgia is outright slimy. The Mannings may reside in the slimiest city in the slimiest state, so they know it when they see it. Behind Smart's thin veneer of Good Ol'Boy, he's a weaselly shitheel. To some personality types, it's repellant. 4) Georgia is landing elite talent at almost every position. 5) Georgia's OC situation looks like it will remain fluid, as Monken isn't viewed as someone who's looking to buy in Athens. 6) Georgia hasn't won hardware in 41 years and while they look like the big dog this season, the smart money should be on Kirby Smart fucking it up somewhere along the way, even with 11 starters on defense who will play in the NFL. So, it's a mixed bag for sure.

  25. Casey Thompson is the fourth most efficient quarterback in the country with an ok but not great arm, a piss poor offensive line and an unspectacular receiving corps. If that isn't a huge selling point for what Sark can do with a quarterback at Texas (not to mention what he did with the Alabama offense) then I don't know what is. It's just fucking bizarre to me that some people think that Texas having a shit offensive line would dissuade a quarterback from coming to Texas more than the fact that Georgia runs a prehistoric offense and despite becoming the 1B recruiting power in college football still hasn't developed a quarterback under Kirby. If you want to play for a coach who will help you develop for the next level you go play for Sark. If you want literally everything else right now you go to Georgia.

  27. This was a fatwa by Goodell. If he doesn't call him a fucking faggot and an anti football pussy we never see these emails. The interesting thing will be to see if he overplayed his hand because I guarantee you this wasn't the worst shit in those 650k emails. Goodell has covered up everything from knocking out your girlfriend in an elevator to sex trafficked chicks giving handles to billionaires. But he's cutthroat. He thought Michelin tire lips was enough to get gruden fired. When it wasn't he released more. He works for the owners but this was a clear shot that if you fuck with him you're fucked. And espn not even acknowledging that all this happened on their watch is hilarious.

  28. A follow up to the above. Tl;dr: the Emus are no more, man rules emus, and pussy rules man. My wife finally decided that we are not emu farmers. Thank God. She contacted the previous owners, and told them she was going to be getting rid of them and offered them first rights to take them back at no charge. To my utter fucking surprise, they agreed, and would be coming from Tennessee to Colorado to pick them up! I wondered what level of Hatfield-vs-McCoys trouble these poor people must have gotten themselves into if they are willing to bring back the emus? Around mid-day Sunday they arrived with their big ass truck and livestock trailer. The wife got out of the driver's seat. She's 5'0" and weighs about half an emu. Her and my wife immediately started gabbing. I kept looking at the truck, waiting for her husband to get out, and all the emu wranglers they had when they dropped them off. I started to get a bad feeling in the pit of my stomach, so I interjected: Me: "Hey, uh, so.... would you and your husband like some water?" Emu Lady: "Oh, haha, you're so funny. Its just me, and I have a bottle right here in my hands! My husband had a flag football game today." I shot my wife an angry glare, but she wouldn't meet my eyes. This should be fucking interesting. We got my 13 year old son and headed down to the pen, while the emu lady backed her trailer up to the gate. Her and my wife started to strategize. Emu Lady: "I am sure they still recognize me. Let me go in and lead them to the trailer." They didn't recognize her. Or if they did, it was as a food source. She dashed out of the pen 5 seconds later, with some blood dripping from her fingers. Emu Lady: "Wow, they've gotten fiesty! Have you been feeding them?" Wife: "Oh yes, we love them and take very good care of them." Me: "Every day for 11 months now, with nary a contribution to the farm." Emu Lady: "Ok, well maybe I can put some food in the trailer and that will get them in." Nope. If cat food and sunflower seeds were ever a motivator for these fucking wannabe dinosaurs, that was gone after they got a taste of human flesh. My wife got some plastic temporary fencing, with the idea that she and the emu lady would stretch that out between them and try to use it as a net to guide the emus into the trailer. Me: "I don't think that's going to work." Wife: "Fuck you, honey. I don't see you helping." The women made it about 3 steps into the pen. The emus glanced at them, they both dropped their ends of the temp fence and bolted. We all kind of stood there for a moment, not saying anything, then I noticed my wife and the emu lady looking at each other. They seemed to exchange some sort of hidden communication, as if they were having a conversation telepathically. I got that bad feeling in the pit of my stomach again. Emu Lady: "I wish my husband were here. We'd be done by now." Me: "Yep, but apparently he loves flag football more than you." Wife: "Yeah, I think we need more help for this. Real help." Me: "We could always just cull them." Emu Lady & my wife: "NO!" Wife: "What would your husband do to help if he were here?" Emu Lady: "He'd just grab them and hold them until I could get a rope around their neck and lead them into the trailer." Me: "Its a real shame he's abandoned you in your hour of need." My wife turned, stared at me intensely, and started speaking to me telepathically. Look, you can either man up and help get these emus into this fucking trailer, or you can move into the fucking camper and say goodbye to our sex life. And then I'll have to find someone else to take these goddammed emus, and when they get here to pick them up, you'll have to help wrangle them then anyway. So go take your balls out of my purse, and show your son how a man handles a problem. I glanced at my son, who had been standing there watching all this, trying to remain unnoticed. He spoke to me telepathically: Dad, I thought more of you than this. You were my hero, but you can't even get an overgrown chicken into a trailer. I guess I'll just grow up to be gay. "Fine. Get your rope, just be ready to get it on these emus, and when we've got them in the trailer, I want you to drive back to Tennessee and never come west of the Mississippi river again." My son and wife beamed proudly while the emu lady got her rope. We both entered the pen, and she stayed at the gate. I decided I would take Eddie first. He's the biggest of the four. The alpha male, and the one that is the most aggressive. I figured if I was going to die that day, I might as well get it over with. I walked towards him. As I got within about 10 yards, his hackles stood up, he turned to face me, extended his neck and started hissing. I kept approaching, and he started walking towards me, kicking and hissing. I heard the whistling from the Good, the Bad & The Ugly theme somewhere in the distance. He was at his full height, and towered over me and my 6'2" frame. I had a moment to think oh jesus, fuck this, I'll sleep in the goddamn trailer when he started to charge. He closed the gap in under a second. Shit was going down whether I wanted to quit or not. He lurched his neck downwards, pecking at my face, but I ducked under it, stepped into his feathered body and grabbed his fucking neck. I pivoted to get alongside his body so that he couldn't kick forward at me. I switched my grip on his neck to a headlock while I wrapped my other arm over his worthless wings to get a good hold on him. I drove upwards out of my crouch, lifted his ass up off the ground and executed a perfect fucking suplex with that goddamned emu. I quickly got on top of him to keep him pinned to the ground. My wife screamed. The emu lady stood there with her mouth agape. "GET THE FUCK OVER HERE!!" I yelled. She scrambled over, got the noose around Eddie's neck and tightened it. "Ok, get some tension on him, and then on the count of 3, I am going to roll away and you need to pull his ass towards that trailer and away from me." 1... 2... 3... I rolled away, and the emu lady did her part, keeping tension on Eddie so he couldn't re-engage me. Then I took the rope from her and got him all the way in. I stepped out through the trailer's front door, and met them back at the gate. My wife had a look of dire concern on her face. My son was beaming at me. Wife: "Is Eddie alright?" Emu lady: "I... think so?" Me: "Thanks, yeah, I'm fine." Wife: "I saw you trip and fall. Lucky that it was right on top of Eddie!" Me: "I didn't trip and fall, that was a perfectly executed grappling maneuver." Wife: "Haha, you are so funny! I hope Eddie isn't hurt...." The women continue checking out Eddie in the trailer, trying to make sure he didn't break a feather. Shrugging, I walked over to my son, who was still beaming at me. Son: "DAD! That was literally the craziest, coolest thing I've ever seen!!!" Me: "Not bad for an old man, eh? Now you know -- sometimes you have to be a little crazy when you are a man." We finished with the other 3 emu, none of which were nearly as eventful. I was able to just grab them and the emu lady was able to get a noose on them and lead them to the trailer herself. Within 45 minutes, she was driving off, ridding our farm of those goddamn emus. My wife made sure to reward me later that night. The next morning at breakfast she wanted to talk. Wife: "I've been thinking about what we should do with that pen now that the emus are gone..." Me: "Yeah? Like having some pigmy goats or something?" Wife: "Haha, you are so funny! What do you think about... WATER BUFFALO?" FUCK MY LIFE.
