Haselwood and Theo Wease looked good as freshmen.   My hope is more that (1) Spencer Rattler is as douchey as he looks, which is somehow even too douchey for Oklahoma and he will be the next Bomar, and (2) more importantly, we just stop sucking and actually beat somebody instead of relying on them sucking.

I'm guessing you haven't seen QB1 season 3. He's every bit as douchey as he looks if not more so. Tathan territory.

Exactly. Go beat them. I mean what in the hell did Quentin Griffin ever do after college? Jack shit. The guy averaged 3.7 yards per carry in Denver back when anybody with two legs and a heartbeat was approaching 2000 yards for them.

When we show up to that game not ready for a fight we deserve to get embarrassed. Whether it's an extremely talented player like Lamb or a mediocre talent like Griffin, if we don't show up then we'll get humiliated.

It'll be perfect if Riley is unable to land a transfer QB for the 2020 season, the sooners would finally experience their long overdue decline. It was nice for Brown to declare for the draft last season, Lamb arguably had a better 2019 season than Brown had in 2018. It'll be interesting to see who is drafted first between Lamb and the WR from LSU, Justin Jefferson.

Is there really any excuse for us not to win the Big 12 next year?

Tom’s lack of playing talent that sits on the bench...  Duverne not playing much until this year, Young showing potential playing in the only garbage time he got in the last game even though we were thin at RB bc he fumbled in the past, ect...  We may have more good players that Tom refused to play on the bench.  Hopefully Tom keeps his hands off the offense next year and we can find “hidden talent” earlier.

Rattler is real good. We just have to get better.

Spencer Rattler was the number 1 qb coming out of high school last year (or maybe 2 years ago). If he stays, they’ll be just fine at qb. Did anyone really expect Jalen fucking hurts to be the heisman runner up? Riley laughs at the rest of the conference when it comes to stopping his offenses.

This. That kid is good. He will light up the record books.

I thought he could’ve started over Hurts this year. His ceiling is twice as high as hurts could’ve ever dreamed of. So now we’re just banking on hope that riley can’t develop him (lol) or that Riley just goes to the pros

There's also the Chris Robison "drink your way out of Norman" approach
