  1. If you’re a government official, you need to be following stricter guidelines than what you expect the public to follow.

  3. Good one yesterday morning. Every week my wife asks me to buy a gallon of oat milk for her coffee. I don't like it, so I buy a pint of whole milk for my coffee. I was on the phone in the morning and accidentally grabbed the oat milk out of the fridge and poured it into my coffee. Which precipitated the following exchange: Me: "Do you want to take my coffee. I used oat milk by accident. I'll make another cup for myself." Wife: "No, I like the whole milk in my coffee." Me: "Then why do we buy the oat milk for your coffee?" Wife: "Well, I like to have the oat milk because we always run out of the whole milk." Me: "So how about I just buy more whole milk and no oat milk?" Wife: "Then what will I use when we run out of whole milk?" At this point I just walked out of the kitchen with my coffee. Oh, my wife is a doctor.

  5. Seems like there are 3 outcomes here: 1. Successfully interfere. This is a win for Graham 2. Unsuccessfully interfere but without consequences. This is a win for Graham. 3. Unsuccessfully interfere and get prosecuted with potential time in a PMITA prison. This is a win for Graham.

  6. Stop with this bullshit. Your mask mandating poster boy (Gavin Newsome) just got busted hosting a dinner party without masks. You talk about this being politicized and then you politicize it. As long as there are people that try to force people to do as I say and not as I do, then people are not going to comply. You can throw in the SOH Pelosi if you want to make the Federal argument. Newsflash...There are idiots and hypocrites in positions of power from both parties.

  14. After careful consideration of my financial situation, savings for a remodel, etc., I decided to hold off on a new guitar despite all of your advice to the contrary. I think it was the wise choice. But then my birthday came around. My wife wanted to know why I was moping around the house, as if all the joy I had in my heart was gone. She said, “just get it. It can be your Christmas, Father’s Day, and anniversary present too.” Behold: https://www.proaudiostar.com/fender-fsr-2-tone-telecaster-thinline-w-ebony-fingerboard-surf-green-used.html?utm_source=Google_Shopping&gclid=Cj0KCQiAhs79BRD0ARIsAC6XpaUMJveM5FGgCnS5_8dY07fmsDjYzGg62k2Ix3XK-o6jj-CoHCwNIJEaAuFVEALw_wcB My first telecaster. 16. Dude he normalized and encouraged mask-denialism that has killed hundreds of thousands of people. You get some unfair shit on here at times but you are being dumb as fuck. Every "positive" that Trump has re:Covid is table stakes that any president not in a coma would have done. He literally is encouraging people to engage in behavior that will get people killed. If you're going to say stupid things at least get the talking points right. Your crew's stance is that killing some extra people is worth it to save the economy. HTH.

  20. Notice I said nothing about Obama in my response. That's your eternal internal boogeyman. My comment was in reaction to your choice of language. It's a tell that you use Amos n' Andy patois. There are those understand how some play the game and notice the tell. There are those that blow whistles all day and and then claim innocence because they didn't hear a thing. Your track record makes it clear it's a tell, intentional or not.

  21. However, if we talk about what is "overwhelming" the hospitals, cost of care, etc., it's the fatties that are doing it. Imagine what insurance rates would do if everyone had a BMI below 20. They are "hogging" more than their fair share of resources, food, medical care, etc. MUZZLES BEFORE MASKS

  24. Yep. The left wing media is guilty of selective coverage and bias, for sure, and sometimes slant and spin. But the right wing media is guilty of knowingly selling a completely false narrative over and over for the purpose of manipulating people. It's apples and demons.

  27. What are Q friends are saying. This is plucked from a Q Type on my FB feed: LET’S REVIEW WHAT WE KNOW THUS FAR... (THE STORM) 1) A group of very evil people, called the Deep State, or Cabal, have been running the planet and every country and major institution and the banking system, etc. behind the scenes for centuries. 2) The goal was, always has been and still is a one world government with every human enslaved to a digital technology, enforced through a one world police force while all are force vaccinated and poisoned so each slave can be easily controlled. 3) Virtually EVERY BRANCH of the US Government has been infiltrated (Democrats especially so) and the plan included the nuclear destruction of the USA at the end of (what would have been) Hillary's 2nd term. 4) Our US military asked Donald Trump to run for office to stop the overthrow of the USA and return America to the people by removing the evildoers and their words and works (the swamp) and restoring control of America to the People. 5) Because mainstream media has been taken over by the Deep State, there needed to be a back channel of communication for President Trump and our military to talk with the people - now called Q. 6) The Invisible Enemy that President Trump has referred to IS the Deep State and every aspect of their evil, including human trafficking, child sex, and child satanic torture / murder by very powerful elite - names we've all heard and know. 7) President Trump has been rooting out the evil ones in government and elsewhere during the first four years of his presidency to set the stage for the arrest of the traitors and satanists who planned to annihilate the USA during his next four years as President. The Plandemic was launched to create a mail-in voting scheme to try and fraudulently oust Trump since they knew the Democrats would never win on their own. This is called a False Flag. 9) Biden said he would not claim victory until the mainstream media claimed it for him. Mainstream media is now lying to the entire nation with their pronouncement that Biden won. 10) Here comes the important stuff. 11) At some point in time, it will become obvious that Trump won the election - a point of no return. WHEN THAT HAPPENS, the Deep State will UNLEASH HELL on America in the form of riots, shutting down social media accounts, censorship, saying that Trump will not concede, etc., etc., etc. 11a) Trump has a plan to take them all down - this is their LAST STAND - their LAST HOPE of survival - of enslaving us all - and they will unleash everything they have onto us. So, be ready for that. 12) At some point in this immediate timeframe, it is highly likely that President Trump will tweet: My fellow Americans, the STORM is upon us... And at that time he will probably be deleted off of all major social media platforms as the Deep State continue their coup to overthrow the United States of America. Many of us will likely be booted off of social media. Or, social media may simply go offline to ensure even more chaos. Our US military have told us they will never allow another deep state operative to be President. Biden will *NEVER* be President. It is incumbent upon you to 1) Pray, 2) support Trump through this all, 3) stock up on everything, and 4) know what you will do if all communication is cut. Next: at some point, we expect President Trump to be either on Air Force One or in a secure location where he will use the Emergency Broadcast System to communicate with us. Be sure to drop what you are doing and listen. There's also talk of a currency reset in January. It would not be a bad idea to buy some silver. The more prepared we all are, the better it will be for everyone. God help us all. I did not write this. Please copy and paste or share.

  28. Utterly and completely failing to manage it, shit, failing to even have a goddamned MEETING on the subject for give months.....that shit is goddamned well on Trump. In terms of deaths, public health, and economic impact, COVID is the greatest crisis the country has faced since WWII (and guess what, that was a WORLD war -- other countries had to face it too, just like this crisis). And the admin has chosen to abdicate any fucking leadership and responsibility, for months. Fuck, the only time they even speak up, it's to UNDERMINE any measures to try to address it. So yes, it's fucking on him. What you do after a Pearl Harbor event, regardless of whose fault it was, fucking matters. It's pretty much his entire goddamned job. And he has just decided not to do it. He's the single worst executive, of anything (and I've worked with both public and private entities for 25 years), I've ever seen. And I can't even come up with a close second -- and that includes enterprises that went bankrupt. And, yes, when it comes to the ability to deploy an arsenal capable of exterminating functionally all human life, he IS a god. That's the goddamned point. The office has the most incredible power the world has ever seen. He has the ability to launch nuclear weapons. Giving a fucking psychopath that power was a really bad choice.

  29. Not really. You are an unwitting pawn in the American Right's successful move of our nation with respect to the world. The GOP convinces the Democrats that they have to give something to their wingnuts so the Democrats give ground. The Democrats tell their wingnuts to shut up. So the country moves a bit to the right. Next time there is a discussion the exact same thing happens. And all along the right calls whatever is two ticks left of the last agreement RADICAL SOCIALISM. So it happens slowly (S is what the Republicans call Socialism at each point in time): But you wake up two decades later and what actually happened is:

  30. csb/ On my very first date with my now wife, the waitress came to the table, burst into tears, hugged my wife like a lost friend, turned to me and said "I couldn't stay clean, she took my son, and when I could finally stay clean she helped me regain custody, it was the best thing that ever happened to me" 10 years later, that same woman went to college and is a licensed drug counselor. /csb Similar scenario has occurred several times since, usually in the aisles of an open HEB.

  31. The problem with centrism in the current environment is that some problems have been left to fester for so long that dramatic changes are necessary to have any effect. Yes, 30 years ago incremental reductions in carbon emissions would have been great, but now the polar ice sheets are rapidly disintegrating. Without dramatic changes we are going to render our planet uninhabitable. It is too late for incrementalism on this issue. Some problems are also binary. Healthcare, for all the sycophants want to obfuscate, is one of these. You can have universal healthcare or you can tell a large portion of society to get fucked. That's it, those are the choices. So choosing the former when we have existed for decades in a society embracing the latter is unavoidably a dramatic change. The center arguing for incrementalism on this issue are simply further obfuscating and maintaining the status quo in which those at the top don't have to worry while a large section of the populace are told to get fucked.

  34. If I could rep this post 1000x I would. This whole thing was politicized from the Spring as soon as the journos and “experts” and other elected officials said protests were OK but you can’t go to church or a funeral and your kid can’t go to school. Maybe I missed it, but did a single journo or politician denounce any of those gatherings? All of those hypocrites like Newsom and Lightfoot and the other public health experts who cheered on the protests and then crowdshamed and tsk-tsked other gatherings can go get fucked and if you are too blind to see the hypocrisy in the message, go fuck your mother. Mixed messenging is a great way to reduce compliance with any directive. So if you don’t think people are taking the pandemic seriously enough, maybe look at all the mixed messenging that we’ve been receiving from our betters. Now excuse me while I kiss the sky...
