As does the impact on me.  Lying about the size of crowds or how many illegals are in the country or crime is rising or best potus ever do not really affect me.  Lying about a healthcare plan that promised not to add even $1 to the deficit that caused my personal family health insurance to more than double and my dedictible to triple affects me more.  Both are bad.

You skate right past the impact, as I knew you would.

NORMALIZING lying is the danger here.  He lies about -- literally -- EVERYTHING.  He creates a world in which lies are truth and truth is lies and there is no difference.  That is a most dangerous world.  Nevermind the gravity of the lies he's already told -- his big, beautiful tax plan that will make things nifty?  It's going to EXPLODE the deficit.  Nobody knows more about healthcare than him, and he's going to fix it, easy peasy?  We're fucked when it comes to healthcare.  He flat-out lied about fixing a goddamned thing.

He lies little.  He lies big.  He lies everywhere in between.

But Avenatti's lie (and it is a lie) bothers you MORE.

That's the fucking Trumpkin troll world you live in.  Fucking amazing.

You really are not going to know what to do with yourself when trump is gone and the whole country isn’t lying about everything all the time

and just to be clear, my contempt for your fatalism is not an endorsement of sheeit’s take or trump.

he basically states in his book about repeating the lie until it's understood as true.

You really need help.  You have become as bad as the crazies at attributing things to people.

Avenattis lie does not bother me more than trump lies.  I really do not care about Avenatti at all.  Other people started posting about his comments and started speculating that Trunmp paid for an abortion and that Broidy took the fall for it.  It was insanely stupid.  And, as usual, people ate it up just like he knew they would.  Just like they do with all things trump.  I as simply yanking your chain a little since you like to throw the liar thing out there all the time.  I thought Avenatti was teed up for you.

I have stated, multiple times, any number of things that I think trump should be impeached for.  So far, none of those things have been proven.

Gravity?  You have no idea if the tax cuts will be effective or not.  Healthcare?  How about we scrutinize all of the promises made by Clinton, Bush and Obama before they were sworn in and see how many of them they actually did?  Debt, deficit, immigration, taxation etc etc.  I guess they all "flat out lied".  They did.  Your double standard is comical.

Bottom line is that you called me, a random poster on a message board, a "lying liar" for posting information about HUD multifamily loans that someone requested and that was completely factual.  So, apparently, my comments "bothered you MORE" than his.  That is the fucking unhinged post trump world you live in.  Fucking amazing.

trump is the guy resolutely painting himself into a corner while hollering for a new bucket and fresh brush.

it's funny all the people he puts there with him. Cohen literally can't get out from under him.  Want to know how I know Giuliani lost his mojo?  He doesn't see the obvious -- he's so blinded by the need for attention he's likely to miss a lot of other things right in front of him.

Avenatti is a publicity hungry, trolling, California showman/lawyer who represents porn stars.  At a minimum he was wrong, and he probably did intentionally lie to stir shit up.  That is of course sketchy, but if we’re making this a contest of what/whose lies are most important for the nation’s interests or what most directly affects me and you (as you seem to be doing), then I’m not exactly overwhelmed by the gravity of the situation.

And is it really your contention that Trump doesn’t lie about policy, but rather just about crowd sizes and the like?  Using your healthcare example, are you satisfied with Trump’s track record of honesty on that topic?

I have no care at all for Avenatti or his lies.  I thought it was kind of funny to watch people figure out a way that trump paid for an abortion and a multimillionaire took the fall for it and the lawyer that represented the playboy model that had the abortion went along with the scam because...?  It was completely preposterous.

As for policy, I never really give much attention to anything that politicians say about it.  The only thing that matters is their actual actions.  Is your issue that the ACA is horrible but that it  is even more horrible that trump could not fix it in his first year?  At least they tried.  Every potus from bush, clinton, bush, obama has promised to fix any number of things.  Very few ever got fixed.  I think the aca is terrible.  I was hopeful it could get changed.  So far it has not.  Had trump lied about healthcare and then changed the law based on those lies and it made the situation worse, then of course I would be pissed.  I am pissed that it did not get changed but I am still more pissed at the group that put it in place than the group that tried to change it.

The Special Master order is out and Judge Jones will be making initial privilege calls, and she’s authorized to hear/solve any objections from the parties.

The process from here on out is pretty much free from wild allegations of political bias, so *when* the government gets a hold of criminal activity by Cohen, Trump, and the Trump Organization- this will go very badly for the President.

In related news, the Mueller protection bill was successfully voted out of committee in the Senate 14-7. The bill requires any firing to be for good cause and forces Mueller to report findings to Congress.

Nice.  If nothing else, it will be interesting to see what the vote looks like in the Senate, if goes anywhere in the House, and whether Trump vetoes it. I don't know much about Senate rules/procedures, but I assume McConnell will figure out a way to kill it.  The last thing he wants going into the midterms is a vote on Mueller vs. Trump.  That's pretty much the definition of a wedge issue.  Trumpsters are going to hate the Republicans who vote for it, and Republicans who vote against it are going to get strung up in the media.

If Cohen held onto over a dozen devices going back years, he was planning on having to potentially cover his ass someday.

Not necessarily. My take on Cohen is that he is just sloppy. When he gets a new phone, he installs the stuff from the old one, chucks the old phone in a drawer and never thinks about it again.

I think he kept plenty of other stuff to cover his ass though.

Could be, but he has recordings as well.

Yeah, that's the plenty of other stuff that I mentioned. I think Cohen has extensive recordings. I'm sure the same info is on those phones, but I bet Cohen has that all stored on external hard drives and DVDs. I think the old phones is just sloppy, not part of that system, but it's not really that critical. He definitely kept enough to hang them all.

Nah. I get the whole stupidity vs malice bit...but he had 16 phones iirc. 1. 6.

There were at least a few burners in there. Could he have saved them in case of emergency and covering his ass?  Absolutely. Did he anticipate being raided by the FBI?  Absolutely not.

He was sloppy alright. And now he’s likely proper fucked.

*i also doubt that moron knew how to transfer recordings/texts/records from a phone to a hard drive. I’m willing to be the “hard drives” are the phones.

oh, i think the jewelly one can see the obvious and a whole lot more.  like his ass is grass and bob mueller landscaping is unloading the trailer.

his problem, i'm guessing, is he made some assumptions about how the gop overthrow of the nation was going to go and made sure he was positioned to shine like a silver spoon in the new government.  now those efforts to help the traitors have snared his miserable ass and there's nothing he can do to save himself.  he may die in prison.

Trump: I don't know anything about the Stormy Daniels payment.

Trump: Okay, he represented me on the Stormy Daniels deal.

Trump: with respect to the civil suit, "But I'm not involved and I'm not involved — and I've been told I'm not involved."

Trump:  “From what I see, he did absolutely nothing wrong. There were no campaign funds going into this, which would have been a problem.”

TRUMP CAMPAIGN: paying Cohen's legal fees.

Does Trump even have any dick left to shoot off?

The problem with catching Trump in a lie is that everyone—even his supporters—assumes he’s lying all the time.  I mean, they believe him when he lies to them.  But then when you point out that he lied, they shrug and say “That’s just Trump being Trump!”

It’s really fucked up.  People like that shouldn’t be allowed to tie their own shoes, much less vote.  But here we are in 2018, and those morons are running the free world... right into a ditch.

To be fair, by the way he acts he didn't start with much.
