Give me one candidate -- just one -- who just says on repeat "fuck these guys, and fuck all their bullshit."

His name was Roland Gutierrez but a bunch of BMDs and Washington based consultants decided to stack the deck for Rep. Football McTextsalot (D, Uncanny Valley)

Here's 12 more minutes that are worth a watch. Apologies if already posted somewhere.

The Dems need to go back to school and learn some shit from this guy.

I am 100% in favor of Democrats shitting on reporters who ask stupid questions or parrot GOP talking points.
BUT- treating reporters who ask good questions like shit is a TERRIBLE look, and being a baby about it is worse.

I clocked her as a student government Type-A jagoff a mile away. Glad she's not a MAGAt but definitely not someone who should be in leadership.

In fairness to Porter, that was a stupid question. She should have known better than to melt down like that, of course, but the correct answer to the question (how will you get the 40 percent of Californians who voted for Trump) is by reminding the interviewer that Trump has been losing support especially among Gen Z and Latinos, so if the election were to be held today she would not be competing for just 60 percent of the vote and then pivot from there to one of the talking points about the gubernatorial race.

She got upset that the question was slightly rephrased from the list shared in advance and her lawyer brain couldn’t let it go. She had to “win” rather than deliver her points. Everyone else managed to deal with this without issue.

After the Uvalde shooting, McConaughey called for common sense gun control or background checks. Vague goals without specific changes but that's not the end of the world from a celebrity. I have to wonder what backlash he received and how that has shaped his public statements. But he also most likely had some positive reactions as well.

From what I understand, gun control or shootings did not come up in the Rogan interview at least to a point where McConaughey could be expected to offer a gun control opinion. Wouldn't surprise me if Rogan was asked to avoid certain questions.

He wanted his studio built and bent the knee to get it done. He’s a schmuck

The real hard hitting legislation that the people are asking for!

Quote

Gov. Gavin Newsom signed a law this week that will require streaming advertisements to have the same audio level as the shows they interrupt.

Starting in July, the volume level of ads on streaming services like Netflix, Hulu, and HBO Max must match that of the content—meaning no more deafening jolts about moderate to severe plaque psoriasis. The rule is based on a similar US federal law that only covered ads on traditional TV, not streaming, which was passed in December 2010. That year, the FCC received over 130,000 complaints, mainly about loud commercials.

California’s new ad volume controls were written by State Senator Tom Umberg but inspired by his legislative director, who was frustrated with streaming ads waking up his newborn daughter, Samantha.

Kidding, it's actually a good law I think. Also, wins like this are no-regrets-- nobody has a problem or can reasonably take issue with this. It's as bipartisan as it gets and is one micrometer closer to bringing America back together.
