Every beach needs to have a jail for people who play music on their bluetooth speakers.  Some mother fucker had his speaker in the sand near the surf, facing out into the ocean, playing some trash pop country music.  He goes to jail without parole.

This project aims to develop a jammer using ESP8266 to interfere with BLE and Wi-Fi networks. The project utilizes the RF24 library to generate interference in the 2.4 GHz bands and provides user feedback via an OLED display.

Elko?!

Mike Elko doesn't buy you a croissant.  He eats your croissant after he finishes his half dozen of them.

Going through security at the Calgary International Airport they made all take our shoes off. Not a problem, I get it, but it is a rare occasion for me with all my travels. The problem was that there were no places to sit to put your shoes back on after clearing security. Everyone was having to catch a knee to put their shoes on if they weren’t wearing slip-ons.

Same thing with “getting untracked.”  If a train gets off the tracks, it’s a disaster. The team/individual needs to get ON track.

This one really annoys me. It’s so stupid.

Microwave beeping in general is problematic and should be addressed at the highest levels.  It's a needy girlfriend.  "Beep" i'm ready "Beep" hello are you coming to get me "Beep" are you thinking about my needs "Beep" i'm not sure why i'm so unimportant to you "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"  "Beep"

for fucks sake.  i'm chopping veggies.  i know you're done.  shut the fuck up. hold on for 30 seconds.

Mine beeps every minute after the cook cycle is finished. That’s useful information. I reheat food in stages gradually, leaving a two minute break between cycles to allow temps to normalize, and the beeps make it convenient. If you don’t like it then hit the clear/off button after the cook cycle is finished (or open the door to check the temp) and it won’t beep at you.

I usually go with "I'm Texan".

Quite a few years of foreign traveling, me. Any time I was asked if I were American (occasionally Canadian or German), I pretty much always responded with "I'm from Texas". That typically led to either "Bang! Howdy partner!" or "But Texas is part of America, no?" In the latter case, I just said "We like to let them to think so, but we're really separate..."

This right here. People abroad are enamored with Texas. That is why I always go with “Texas”.

In late January somebody broke the rear access door to our neighborhood street’s communal mailbox.
So we had to start driving over four miles to pick up our mail at the PO substation.
Even though the postman said two work orders have been sent in, nobody has come around to repair the lock.
After five months we are still waiting. 😡

Don't forget the people who drive while holding their phone on speaker chatting away.

And people who use their phone on speaker while out in public.

This gets to me every time.  I realize that people are having a conversation that requires at least two people.  The problem is that the sound coming across the phone has a totally irritating tone than someone sitting next to you that you are having a conversation with.

And driving in a new-ish, decent enough car that clearly is equipped with Bluetooth.

I had a variation on this the other day.  I was walking through Target and some woman was playing music through what sounded like a speaker (it was at least her phone speaker) while shopping.  I am not immune to the charms of the Britney Spears techno-pop hit "Toxic", but I don't need to hear it when shopping for a birthday present for my kid's snot nosed friend.  JAIL.

Maybe it's just me, but it seems that over the past several years I see more and more instances of 18-wheelers and other large, slow-moving vehicles blithely puttering along in lanes in which they have no business being.  Hey, you dumbass, slow-moving dipstick, get your ass over into the far right lane.  *That's* the slow lane, i.e., where your slow ass belongs.  And don't give me this shit about, "I'm in this lane so that it opens things up for people entering the freeway from on-ramps."  Bullshit.  I routinely see 18-wheelers in the center lane of 3-lane freeways even though the far right (#3) lane is wide open with no on-ramp in sight.  Or worse yet, I routinely see trucks in the middle lane of 3-lane freeways going about the same speed as trucks in the right lane, which means that two out of three lanes are fucked up and everyone else is trying to get over into the #1 lane to pass their slow asses . . . which jams up the #1 lane.

And don't even get me started about oblivious slow-moving motherfuckers in the fast lane who jam everything up behind them . . .

I need to be the traffic czar for this nation.  I guarantee I would fix some shit up real quick.  Severe beatings for infractions of the types mentioned above would only be the starting point.
