You can't ignore the fact that The Elk has learned from a former sitting national championship winning coach.

Who knows how to win a national championship.

You can’t just skip over the sitting part either. They hired him away from fsu. He was sitting there. That’s a big deal. Sitting.

Edit: in fact, he got quite good at it. He got to aggy, and continued to sit. Just sat around all those years and collected really big checks.

Sitting you say?

Well, PATHETIC is 8 letters, not allowed on Texas plates.

Here’s a morning shot of overt racism from the aggies on 247. This is in the middle of a thread about Hudson where they’re debating the veracity of Hudson NIL demands. It bled into UT NIL discussion/ignorance and complaints about all of them gol’durned Mexicans in San Antonio buying Walmart Texas gear.

They're also the four most successful teams in the SEC and don't need the distraction. Alabama could use the money, though.....

Remember when these morons used to smear us and say no one wanted to coach at Texas because of the distraction of the Longhorn Network?

Of course, LHN had defined programming that, I am sure, was filmed at the coach's discretion if it involved him or players. Documentaries are filmed much more arbitrarily, and become a distraction because of it. We didn't have cameras just being shoved into players' faces or filming anything and everything.

Some Netflix series the production company that does “Drive to Survive” and “Full Swing” is doing. Could be good, but I get why we opted out

Well I, for one, am thrilled that we will have a front row seat to the aggy November collapse.

It's going to be great seeing every single second of aggy on that show obsessing over "tu".

I'm sure they're thrilled that they'll be able to follow the exploits of Top Teams <checks notes> Florida, Texas A&M, Mississippi St, Missouri, Vanderbilt, Arkansas, LSU, South Carolina, and Auburn. Oh, and Tennessee.  Who wouldn't want unfettered access to a group of teams that went 41-55 in conference play?

It was a hard fought season, no one knows what happened at the championship game / netflix.

Mercedes and Ferrari both opted out in the first season of "Drive to Survive" not wanting the distraction. When the show became a smash hit they changed their tune for the marketing exposure. I don't know what we would stand to gain from a brand exposure perspective here in the US. Best decision was to remove the distraction

Case McCoy say Hi!

Definitely one of the best things aggies could do is to provide MORE insight into their cult. I am sure this opportunity will finally dispel all of the myths about aggies and people will get to understand just how normal and cool they really are.

It will be like the videos of yell practice, but just much much longer and more detailed.

A documentary about the SEC, sans Texas, and you are practically guaranteed to see the horns down sign.

That, my friend, is little brother culture.

I understand the reason ou declined. Am glad aggy did not, although the Jimbo years would have been award winning.

I can't wait for aggy to claim they are among the elite in college football, only for the Netflix narrator to say, "Elite? Aren't y'all slightly above average, usually 8-4, with no championship of any kind this century?"

Lol the same mentalist is in College gameday this time for bama

A big part of the Aggie weirdness is the belief that their "culture" is elite. That's why they can't deal with the reality of their mediocrity.

The truth is that all of their vaunted traditions are just psycho-sexual hand me downs from the fucking weirdos who populated A&M when it was an all-male institution.

Forget Sul Ross. They should have a statue of John Wayne Gacy.
