Holy crap ... it appears to be total anarchy ... infighting between the Wagner group and the Soviet Military is getting serious.  Prigzohen, the leader of Wagner, claims the Russians have attacked his forces.

Meanwhile Moscow is accusing Prigzohen of urging "armed mutiny."

Success has many fathers, but failure is an orphan.  This is an indication that the Russians know that Ukraine is going to end in failure, just as Afghanistan did.

You guys ever read Barbara Tuchman's book "The March of Folly?"  Tuchman describes "folly"  as politicians or rulers using the government to pursue policies contrary to their own interests despite the availability of other feasible alternatives. She uses the Trojan War, the loss of the American colonies by King George III, Vietnam and the breakup of the Holy See as examples of this, spelling out the mistakes and pointing out the other polices that might have been pursued.  If it comes to pass that Putin gets deposed or ... worse ... killed, the invasion of Ukraine will stand as the stupidest decision in the history of the world because he is possibly the world's richest man and could have been bathed by fashion models every day for the rest of his life if he chose. A huge yacht. Everything, thrown away.

Meanwhile,
Reports that Belarussian president Lukashenko and his wife boarded a private jet, and have flown to Turkey.

Reports that multiple Russian Defense Ministry units involved in the war are moving under Prigozhin's command with commanders appointed by Shoigu and Gerasimov are being removed.
