VY was pretty damn good in 2004. Everyone talks about 4th and 5 against USC for the title, but nobody remembers the 4th and 18 against Kansas in 2004. Without that play we lose the game and don’t go to the Rose Bowl against Michigan.

It's worse than weird, it's the kind of bizarre, overly defensive non sequitur that could indicate it's actually true.

Yeah, it’s going to fuel the rumor even more.

After the season doctors are going to evaluate him and see if amputation will be needed. Perhaps he'll get a robotic arm attached post surgery for removal.

No no... you aren't allowed to comment stuff like that. You have to pretend like Arch isn't already an improvement over the last guy that took snaps here.

I had more than a few people comment about Arch’s throws, face and throwing motion this weekend totally unsolicited. So many people noticed something weird about it. Especially one of the last out routes he threw before leaving the game. It was almost like a shot put. If he’s not structurally hurt, it’s got to be at least sore because it doesn’t look right. But that’s just through my lying eyes I guess.

crazy thing is how much PFF likes Arch..

85.3 grade vs SJSU and 76 grade vs OSU (Quinn finished at 72.5 last year)

overall passing grade is 80.4 with 8 big time throws in 2 games.

I think one thing people are under-estimating is his movement in the pocket. He has saved Texas from more than a few sacks (one dumb ass int vs SJSU)

Losing some on the missed crossers but also gaining on pocket awareness and playmaking. I think PFF puts a big emphasis on the play making aspect of QB play. I do think if Quinn was starting the offense would be different and revert back to the horizontal, screen heavy attack.

So I dont think your comment is completely crazy, though many will disagree.

People have abandoned using reason and critical thinking  when trying to diagnose something that feels off.

Play out the facts and scenarios, and try to avoid conspiratorial thoughts. For the love of God.

Sark doesn’t have a bad poker face, he’s just pissed about having to respond to ridiculous questions that have allegations behind them.

I’m not saying Sark is hiding anything about Arch, I’m saying Sark has a terrible poker face because it’s very easy to tell when he’s rattled by something. Yeah it’s a stupid fucking question, but Sark gives off a pussy Tom Herman vibe when trying to dismiss it instead of coming off like Saban telling people to GTFO here with that nonsense. “We don’t film you in the bathroom, hell, we just got those piss color detectors removed from the urinals a few years ago.”

Yep

That's why he said "according to who?"

He wanted that dumbass to say according to Ex-NFL QB Dr. Kurt Benkert, MD

I actually had an out of state friend who just called me about the Arch shoulder thing. I told him, You think the Manning's wouldn't shut him down immediately if it was a shoulder issue or any type of issue for that matter? Dean Andrews New Orleans Attorney types would be pinging CDC no stop. The kid has his own State Trooper detail for games for crying out loud.

The clips from last year where he does the exact same thing should have cut the legs out from under this thing.  Everything is a fucking conspiracy now though.

First it was the shoulder stretch tic that people noticed vs Oho State, which he’s always done with evidence to back it up:  Then it’s the wincing/facial expression proof from the past which you mentioned.

Arch has played full expected starter minutes for 2 games without missing a snap. He has thrown lasers all over the field, some god awful and some good, with healthy velocity. He has run the ball plenty in both games. He and Sark have vocally shot down the rumors.

What would be the benefit to Arch personally hiding an injury? What would make that beneficial to his present and future as a college and pro QB with the ridiculous spotlight  and scrutiny on everything he does? He’s playing hurt with the blessing of Cooper, Archie, and the rest of his family?  And they want him to suffer through the pain against San Jose State? And to be mocked my social media and analysts nationally? That’s part of the plan? “Don’t get better Arch, deal with the pain and all the unfair bullshit that comes with it. This is what we want for you.”

this has been going on for a while at Texas. You had Casey Thompson, Worthy, and Ewers injury "conspiracies". I am not a big believer in any of them, but I am not surprised Sark is getting these questions.

Cooper Manning quit playing football the minute he was diagnosed with a serious issue. But he’s good with the idea of his son playing hurt and getting roasted by the whole world, because secretly he hates him. Archie too, he never tells him to avoid getting injured or anything.

You all make good points. The main thing that has me questioning it is we just had something similar two years ago. Worthy took a step back his second season here. Didn't look the same. Didn't make sense. Then it comes out the next spring that he had a broken hand for half of the season.

Why did they hide it? Why did Worthy play hurt as a shell of himself?

Of course, when every throw is almost 5 yards in length, and the WR takes it an additional 20 yards, the QB isn't getting credit.

He doesn’t touch the ball every play, it didn’t affect his speed/route running, and Worthy still wanted to play is my guess. And you’re able to hide the issue from opponents.

But all of those u mentioned played injured and Sark covered for them during the season

that is debatable, but you proved the point. If you believe that Sark covered up injuries in the past, it is not unreasonable for reporters to question the health of a player.
