re:massive turnout.  It's incredible that we are going to be beating 2020 numbers.  i thought everyone was salivating and couldn't wait to vote (because i chat with y'all, and we are all tweaked out about this stuff all the time).  but i wonder if any of this bump is attributable to a lag and this is residual firing up that couldn't be tapped last time because it takes people that are less tweaked out a little longer to put it in action.

I swear to fucking god if the margin in this  election comes down to fucking Tony Hitchcliffe making a racist joke at a rally a week before the fucking election...pretty sure I'm still done with this fucking country.

I'm still holding out hope that it's also the women because of Dobbs and the olds because they've fucking had it with that piece of shit.

What are the 3 most important issues that determine for whom you would vote?

not eating babies

not having a one world order

not having after-birth abortions on demand

He's such an unaware dumbfuck.  Kemp is the standard bearer for the Republican Party in about 6 weeks, why the hell would he help him.

Which Austin location was selected?

WTF is wrong with all of y'all.  There is only one location that matters and it is 45th and Lamar.  Holy hell have you not learned anything?

Um, he wasn’t asking for recounts, he wanted state actors to make up votes for him, or just give the electors to him over the vote, different concepts.

Pastor Loran Livingston will handle him. It's a few months old but never fails. I posted this again yesterday, silence from my suddenly holy crowd. People I have known for decades who scarcely see the inside of a church except for funerals. "Praying for Trump".

Jokes aside, I'm legit worried for that guy's safety should Trump lose.

Fuck him.  Leopards, faces and whatnot.  He chose to dance with the devil.

Kennesaw State is in Cobb County, enrollment 30k

Alexandra Son (right) and Anna Brown (left), both 18-year-old first-time voters from Kennesaw State University, turned out to the polls driven by personal stakes in this election.

Son, concerned for the future of women’s rights, spoke passionately about wanting a safer and more united America.

“I have gone through things that in the Supreme Court they overturned, so it was more of a thing of, like, the safety of me, my little sisters, my future daughters,” she said, citing her immigrant family and the importance of humane policies in her voting decisions.

Reflecting on past elections, Son recalled feeling powerless as a fifth-grader watching the 2016 election unfold.

“I was sitting on the couch, and my parents were, like, screaming… I was like, damn, I wish I was 18 and I could actually vote and do something about it… This election is nerve-wracking, but it’s special because we could have our first woman president and have someone speak for us.”

Brown, also feeling the weight of this election, explained that for her and many in her generation, it’s about preserving women’s rights she’s always known to have.

Studying environmental science, Brown is particularly concerned about climate change and sees it as an urgent priority.

“It’s something that needs more attention, and the fact Harris even talks about it means a lot,” she said, expressing hope for leadership that takes climate issues seriously.

Don't know if I buy Osceola County as more blue than Orange, even early in the day.

Florida will be achieving it's new status as a GOP vote sink from all the midwestern Republicans who moved there during COVID, effectively making the blue wall the bluer wall.

"Sure the Republicans say fascist things and promise to enact fascist policies, but the Democrats call them fascists and so I'm just tired of both sides being so unreasonable."

I mean this is where we are, trump in 2020 and 2016 were kinda just shitty guy does shitty things, this time he's straight up gone full on fascist and batshit. It's not even remotely close to his previous campaigns and rhetoric.
