This one seems pretty easy to understand, to see how each team plays is tougher.  Whoever is the more physical team is will probably win as long as the turnover battle isn't lopsided and we don't kill ourselves with penalties.  The other thing to watch is RZ offense.  Need to play at 2/3 or more in the RZ.  Can't walk away with 3/4 FG attempts after getting to the RZ, especially considering how Maher kicks in the 40's. Dak has 4 picks in 2 games vs Seattle.  He has to play a much cleaner game.  Linehan will be challenged on 3rd down b/c Carroll and company eat up team's with conventional play calling.  We're pretty healthy.  Irving is out but he was a no show this year and probably won't play another down in Dallas.  Connor Williams has to play like a roughrider along with Collins.

Check.  Check.  Check.

Slow clap for that fucking defense. For the first 3 quarters while the offense was doing jack shit they played faster than at any time since NO. They wore down late but without a kicker to worry about and with Dak putting up 14 in the fourth they made it hold up.

Seattle isn't a great team any more but they have a SB winning coach and QB. Cowboys beat a legitimate coach and QB in the playoffs.

Didn’t realize Beasley’s injury was that serious. Not good at all.

Also, how about Tavon fucking Austin. They didn’t end up scoring after that punt return, but shit like that will be the difference in a game if he can keep it up. We haven’t had a threat like that since we lost Harris. And that was a weak ass hold on his return that went for a td.

Yeah that was terrible ticky tack shit, thought they called a block in the back at first

Dak needs at least one 60+ yard TD pass tonight... preferably two. Like to see a four TD pass game for him. One to Zeke. One to Garwin the Marwin. One rushing TD, one for Zeke. That's 42pts. Very possible with a turnover or two. These guys gotta lay a "Longhorn" on the SeaFecals.

I’m happy to settle for having more points at the end of the game than the other team. However they come

We definitely needed to stretch out the field more. At the end, we did, scoring 14 in Q4. It was a conservative game plan. It seemed that whenever Seattle scored, we came right back with a score. Conservative will bite you in the ass when someone makes a late mistake.

Landry tended to be conservative, but had a knack for pulling out new stuff at the end of the game.

Well, I will ask for them to throw several punches with bad intentions.

I’ll give you that.

Not really. They have a defense that can match up with anyone in the NFC.

Offense is the only thing holding this team back.

What are you talking about?  Do you know what a “punchers chance” is?

More than familiar. Dallas isn’t an underdog. That perception was created because of the pre-Cooper losses.

They’re already considered at least a 7 point underdog to whoever they play according to some books steady.

They absolurely are are an underdog but have a “punchers chance”

Cowboys should offer Sean Lee to the Stealers for Antonio Brown.

I'm sure laughter would ensue, but what the hell.

Isnt he a FA?  If so he’s gone unless he takes some kind of huge sweetheart deal to be a backup.

Man fox is loving us in that Saturday night slot.

Im sure when the schedule was released they were expecting Dal/NO in the late Sunday game. Ratings for that game would have been nuts.  Still though, rams/cowboys on Saturday night will be bananas.

Cowboys going to beat Philly in Arlington in a couple of weeks.

Your post to gods ears.

I tell you what. If the Eagles and cowboys win...not only will that game be uncredibaly hyped, it might get all time great NFC championship ratings.

Except the Eagles are going to get trained like a stripper at Treasures next week.

Maybe, maybe not. Thats why the games are played. I dont think there is a single game left in the playoffs that I can definitively declare a team will win. Except the Cowboys  ; )

But what about the Giants draft pick?

That was still incredibly stupid. You harmed yourself by winning a meaningless game and wore your defense out in the process. They stepped up to the occasion and played fast in the playoff game but wore down late and started looking slow giving up TDs. Wilson was abusing them through the air and if they had opened it up and stopped trying to run so much and instead went to the ton of playaction there is no Cowboys game next week.

With extra rest does the defense wear out in the 4th? Maybe not. Better get up big on Rams next week and hope playoff Dak puts up another 14+ 4th quarter points.

Or Seattle is just a solid team that eventually got some things working.
