Of course it’s all relative. LSU has one regular who hit lower than .236 in SEC play.

We have 4, and 3 of them are multi-year starters.

Then maybe it's not such a good metric.

It might be a good idea to give Jaylin the day off.   I saw last night he’s batting .243 which I know translates a tad differently than an MLB average of .243 because of less games being played.   Being in a critical part of the order with that batting average is no bueno.   Here’s hoping he break out of it today.

Why can’t yall spell his fucking name

How is Kansas lite? I haven’t kept up with the big12 at all so no clue what we’re facing today?

Based on their team ERA, if we can’t break out of our offensive funk where we can’t score in more than one big inning a game since the Aggie series, then we just aren’t that good this year and it is time to move on to next year and hoping that schloss knows what needs to be done to add the right parts.

I’d rather us go out and put up ten runs and not choke it away by packing it in in every following offensive half inning like last night and like the Tenn game.

pull your heads out of your asses horns. Let’s play some ball.

I get that but Texas in back third of season has made JAG pitchers with 4.5+ ERAs look like fucking all stars.

We hit around the lefty yesterday I figured we would struggle with then couldn’t hit the righty with a 4.5.

We maybe should have scored at least a dozen last night. But let's not even go there. If you're the SEC champ with a tiny staff ERA, playing at home against an upstart, and you put 7 runs on the board, you have utterly no excuse for losing. None. I don't care how many more runs you had chances to score, 7 should be enough. What an embarrassment our pitching and defense were.

He must throw the straightest fastball of all time because I’ve never seen more comfortable swings against someone throwing 98 and it’s happened in several outings this year.

We can keep the pitchers who still have eligibility, but I would portal everyone except Mendoza and Williams

this board can't handle a UT 'L' today

Not really a long ball hitter but has a good average from a P5 school and can play ANYWHERE in the infield...entered the portal in mid-May.

Our season is probably going to end today, and a called third strike will probably be the play that ends it

After a bunch of Juan Soto posturing about taking pitches all the way to 3-2.

What about his 25 errors over the last two seasons?

Not great. Could be worse though, he could just not be able to get to anything that’s not right at him like our current shortstop

Becerra will be pricy

It's not a red flag that Stanford would not pay him? He's a senior now and did not play his freshman year. Does he really have that much leverage?

yeah but .341 in big 10 is like .230 in the SEC, right?

His last year in the Pac-X was better than the Big10 performance.  He also pressed our poo in pretty good at the Palo Alto Supers in that season.

I’m sure a Big 12 school with a chance to end our season won’t have a little extra juice.
